Default June weight loss challenge

Hi ladiesssssssssss time to get geared up for our new month together!

congratulations to all of you on your losses thus far and/or lifestyle changes! Let's keep on trucking : )

Hope to see you all from previous months as well as anyone who would like to join us. Anyone can join in and all are welcome! We are all on various plans and set various goals , etc. As stated before, measurements of success need not be measured by the scale as we all have our own unique way of doing things and what works best for us. We are here to encourage and support one another and I so look forward to our new fresh start and new month! : ) Having you all here and having each other for support and sharing ideas , etc. has been such a tremendous help and it's so nice to come in and read and write to each other. Ty once again and nowww, let's kick some butt! lol

My goal for this month will be to lose 8 lbs. Also, I am thinking to stretch out my weigh-in days by a few days and weigh in 3x this month. I plan to weigh-in on the 10nth, 20th, and 30th which takes me to the last day of the month. Looking forward to seeing you all here ciao for now, have a superrrrrrr day.

Talking

Hi everyone!

This month I'm aiming for 5 lbs off. Anymore would be a bonus but I'm trying to keep it real for myself. I'm going on vacation with the family the second week of August and I'd like to have a stone off by then. I weigh in on Tuesday so I'll check in after my weigh in next week.

One step at a time, one day at a time.

I'm going to do it this time!!!!

Cheers
Treasa

Default I'd like to be involved in the June challenge

I am a returnie from about 2 years ago. I need something to keep me motivated this time around. My 12 year old daughter and I have started WW and I am walking with her everyday that we can. She has summer softball. So most days it is just myself but on the days that she can she is out an moving too. I would like to lose a total of 10 lbs for this first of many challenges. Thanks for the chance to better myself with you gals!

Count me in

I need a new start. I'm doing the Biggest Loser 12 week challenge but can't seem to get my act together and we are already 1/2 way through --

I'm at 243 as of this morning and would love to lose 10 pounds by the end of June. I have a family wedding to go to the end of July and I haven't seen most of my family in years -- so I would love to show up a little thinner and a bit more cute!!!

I started Slim Fast this morning, just for a jump start to chear me up and then it's back to calorie counting for me!!

Good luck to everyone -- we can do these small goals (it's the overall picture that freaks me out!! )

Greetings everyone!! I am in for this challange!!

I think I'm going to try for an even 8 pounds this month! I'm going to push myself even harder!

And I'm planning weigh ins every two weeks. So I'll keep the weigh in of this morning...132 and next weigh in will be on the 13th of June and then the last on the 27th of June!

Then the final weigh in will be on July 11th, a day before I go away on vacation! I am really hoping to be hovering between 120 and 125 mark by then...I hope I can make it!!!!!

Lets get moving ladies!!

Hey everyone! I have been checking in all day for this thread LOL. Was getting worried it got forgotten.

How are all of you lovely ladies? I am doing great. I basically had a month off in May LOL. I lost 3 pounds, which is good, but about halfway through May I just seemingly gave up. Subconsciously I know I was still eating less than I used to because I maintained the loss throughout the month with NO excercise or good food LOL.

So here I Am, ready to start fresh after my May debacle. I am so disapointed that I set myself back, but I feel confident that I can get back on track.

As for my goals, I am setting my sights on 11 pounds again this month. I am going to get my bootay into gear, eat right, and hit them gym!

Good luck everyone!

My June goal will be 11. I'm at 230 and very much would like to make it to the 2teens. 11 lbs. to make me 219 at the end of the month is the goal(though I must say 215 would be nice but perhaps impractical). Good luck everyone! Can't wait to see how everyone does this month.
June 1 - 230.6
June 10 - 225.2 This months loss thus far = 5.4

so being a newbie to these types of challenges, would someone explain how it works do we all report our weigh-ins every so often to see how we are doing on our goals? just needing a little explaination of how things work is all.

needsahug Thats exactly it, you come in with your weight however often you weigh in and you can ask questions or just babble about weightloss and stuff in your life. tis fun!

I am ready! Bring it on June!!

Took the kids out for a 2 mile walk this morning (they were on their sit and stand stroller) then later on I did some circuit training on the treadmill...ran super fast for 15 seconds and walked for 45. By the time I was done (30minutes) I felt like I was going to throw up. But...it kept the workout interesting!! I'll try to do more tomorrow.

I feel like I need to do something to shake up my standard program...so I'm trying new things. I really want to meetmy goal this month...I haven't been in the 120s since I got married! Oh to be that weight again.

I am so revved up to be exercising.

Plus I am trying to do modified push ups (30) everyday.

New month, new month!!! Yall know I love new starts. I'm feeling good, no GREAT! This month is getting started the right way: finally got cable, should have my car in a week or so, and I get my computer this weekend so I can be around more! Add to that, today has been a FABULOUS on-plan day! I guess seriously writing down EVERYTHING I eat is helping.

Oh, WL goal for June:

* Lose 5 lbs. (Going to be more, the way I'm feeling. )
