O.K. I made it through the dentist and I went to Curves. I'm feeling mighty fine right now.

Annie - It's really nice to have a nurse on the boards. Keep dishing out the free advise . I know I should take Ibuprofen but I don't like to take anything (guess I like to whine instead ). I know I'm not to bright . I am going to go get some as we are out. I don't like to take anything because I am allergic to so many meds and the one's I'm not allergic to make me feel funny (no problem with Ibuprofen). I do wrap my knees and put icy hot on them but I don't think I could handle cold ice on my knee . My dad had to have his knee replaced and they want him to do the other but he did not like his experience with the first go-round so he refuses. Anyway he used to ice his knees all the time. I just don't see how that could make it feel better. Anyway sorry .

Lisa - There's one for you and two for your poor friend. I can't say I know how she must feel but my baby girl is 22 months old and so it was a horrible horrible thing to read . Just know I am so, so sorry .

Jennie - So sorry about the scale withdrawl . I can just picture in the bathroom with your eyes bugging out should I or should'nt I? Hold strong girl. You can make it . For me jogging is about 3.7 but I have very short legs so it may be different for you. I also used incline of 3.5 yesterday when I was walking. Trying to shake things up a bit.

Sky - the camping trip sounds like fun. Sorry you had to exercise in the house but very happy that you did!! Great job .

Curly - I hate it when you work your *** off and don't see results . That is so frustrating!!!! Keep with it girl IT WILL COME OFF!!! Chug-a-lug that water and keep a positive attitude.

Sky-you and I will be camping at the same time. I'm going to this Christian music festival that is held in a big field in the middle of PA. About 10,000 people come and you all camp out for about 5 days and all these bands come and play. Now that I have all my camping equipment, I am looking forward to other camping trips too.

Curylocks-the cortisone shot could be a contributing factor. Sorry you are so frustrated. I read a book on Low Carb dieting that was very helpful to me called "Living the Low Carb Life" by Jonny Bowden. He's a nutritionist. You might want to check it out.

Well ladies I am on call for the whole universe (as I say) this weekend. I have no idea how busy I will be so I don't know if I will get a chance to post or not. One of the bad things that tends to happen when work gets crazy for me is that I don't eat so I have to try to stay on top of that.

Last night I only managed to make myself do a mile on the treadmill here at work, but angry with myself, I talked myself into working out when I got home! But I ate too much. I can't win! Why do I sabotage myself? But on a great note, my scale was kind to me this morning. Keep working Turtle. Keep working.

I didn't mean to bring everyone down with my post. I am still in shock. Even the investigators are puzzled to why Kaylee died. The motorcycle hit the back door and he was going 90mph. My friend's daughter had meth in her system as well as in the car...that part has not been officially released or has the estimated speed of the cycle. I am sick over this.... makes a big pit in my tummy.

On a better note... Today is my long day. Mallissa had piano right after work and then had swim lessons. Her and I were supposed to have a picnic in the park but our weather decided it was winter again. We only lasted part of the way through the picnic and ate in the car. LOL I packed us a nice dinner then we went to open swim. I managed to do 6 laps in the pool. Dave went fishing with his son. They caught fish but have been gone all day.

Sky: when I lived in Fla..my favorite vacation spot was in the GA/NC mountains. My ex and I would camp there and we loved hiking.

Hot: Have a great time at the beach. I love the beach..relax and enjoy. A mile is good on the treadmill.

Petra: have fun camping too. I love Christian music. Hope you have a calm weekend.

MoxX3: Great job on curves..and glad the dentist is over.

Curly: don't stress..do you feel better? Do you have more energy..don't stress on the scale.

Angel: Hope you enjoyed the gym. I wish I could go more but I like variety so if I make it once a week...I am fine with that. The walk on the greenway is the killer workout for me. I get to do that on Mon/Wed when Mallissa is at gymnastics.

Hi my lady lucks!!!!!.. Today is a good day for me.. it's the last day I have to work at this crappy job.. I start training for my at home job on Monday and that should last about 2 weeks... Yeah, I think you guys are pretty awesome too. I got in a really good work out last night. I pushed myself on the treadmill and felt great afterwards. And like yesterday, my scale (this morning) is being REALLY nice to me! But I'm not even going to say the numbers aloud until I officially weigh in at TOPS. It's like if I say it out loud it won't be real or something. I know, sounds silly. Today will be my last day at work before my vacation starts. I'm just trying to get some house work done before I leave. Oh and of course, I slip in a sun bath too. This is the best thread I've ever been a part of. I thank each and everyone of you from the bottom of my Turtle heart. Thank you!

Hi ladies, just a quick note before my last day of meeting begins. We get to start this one going over the new health insurance. They change it every single year. what is up with that. If you get a doctor you like, you can only have them for a year. Its so expensive though, I can't even afford it so I get my own out side of work but yet I still have to sit through the meeting.....

Anyway, yesterday I had a bad eating day I didn't binge at all but I ate things I shouldn't have. for lunch they had gyro meat and I made a salad which wasn't to bad but since I don't ussually eat that stuff, I felt pretty bloated. then for dinner I went out to eat I had a vegetarian version of a cuban sandwhich which I have to say was better than almost all the cuban I've had and I am hopeing way less calories, but again I ussally don't eat a sanwhich for dinner I ussualy have lots of veggies, and salad, then I had to go to a graduation party and I had cake. My weekness, sweets. I only had one piece so it wasn't so bad but now my body is a little out of wack and off schedule. I'll get back on today. I sitll have 2 days until WI.
Ok, got to get to that meeting.

Good morning girls!

Just thought I'd check in and post my weight as my new weigh in's are on Fridays. Guess what?? Another 2 lbs lost! I'm a "2-lb-a-week-loser!" I'm happy about that and sad about that. Happy that I've been consisent and it's apparent through my hard work and determination, but sad because, AHHHHH, this is so slow. I'll probably gain 5 pounds over the course of this weekend. Going to a family reunion at my bro's house. I'll make every attempt at portion control and when my willpower goes down, I'll think of you all, who've brought me this far. You are all in my book.

I'm sorry I don't have the time to address anyone individually, but we're leaving in about 2 hours, and there are things I still need to get done.

I hope to be around Sunday night for a "hello" and if not, "I'll be back" (in my best Schwartenagger voice) on Monday.

Good Morning PIC Chicks ! Just crawled into the office.. enjoy a morning , so thought I better check in since I didn't get a chance to yesterday.

Things are going pretty good for me. It was my anniversary and my hubby's birthday yesterday; however, I had school so we didn't do anything special. Tonight we are going out for a nice dinner and I will try to watch my points but have already decided that I am having a little treat of some type.. maybe a piece of pie or something..

Got my exam back last night and I got 88%.. YAHOO. 3 more weeks to go and then I write my final exam and then 2 glorious months of no school

DEE ~ so glad that you are back and great job on the loss Great news about the job, I know you were really getting into a funk in your other one.

First day of school was confusing, second day still abit confusing but I'm getting the hang of it Didn't think there was going to be so MANY books involved I think it's going to be hard but I can do it if I focus

CurlyLocks- Have you had your thyroid checked? (can't remember if you've talked about this or not) I think the synthroid has been very helpful to me, I only started loosing weight when I got that under control.

Well ladies, the consult gods are being very nice to me so far today. It has been an unusually quiet day. I have only had one consult so far, so I am actually home at 2 in the afternoon. Might have to go back out again but all is quiet right now. I also lost another 2 lbs this week. I didn't get an apology for the other night and I probably won't. I was told that I should have called the attending myself. I guess I have to learn to be more pushy which doesn't come naturally for me.

Hope to have a chance to check in with you guys more later.

I am going to do this no matter what. I told my dh when I get to my goal weight I want a breast reduction. That is my focus right now so I have to stay strong.
