A week until my vacation and i'm two pounds shy of my july goal. My goal of 134 by Labour Day is looking doable so I'm pretty happy about that. I'm trying my best to keep positive of reaching 141 (8lbs loss for the month) by the end of this month, but my friends going away party is tomorrow night so I know i may have a few drinks (I'm going to try to stick with wine, because I drink this slowly, and it's a get drunk type of night and that happens quickly for me with wine). I'm pretty happy with the way things are going so far, but i'm now officially at the point where the weight is coming off my stomach and thighs (the last parts I tend to lose). This would be good if it weren't for all the lose skin that is suddenly appearing everywhere

. At least once i've reached my goal weight it will nolonger be bathing suit season!
I've called my dad to reiterate the fact that i've been so good with making healthy choices on my diet and I'm hoping I can stick with it for my vacation (NEXT weekend). He's agreed to let me make my own breakfast and lunches, and has promised me that he won't make pasta (the epitomy of the food that makes me gain the fastest/most). This means my dad will be making me two dinners. I've prepared myself to allow a nice bbq meal or whatever he has planned, as long as the portions are small and half of my meal (OR MORE!) consists of salad.
In regards to the aftermath of my vacation, I realised that's when TOM comes. Could I have planned it more cruely? I'm going to hate the scale when I weigh myself after vacation for sure if it means the crimson rivers are flowing and i've cheated. But oh well.
I hope everyones doing well and having a good homestretch for the end of the month.
Have we thought of creating a before/after thread come labour day to show off everyones success? Could be a good motivator for the christmas challenge!
