Bah, I have been sooo busy these past couple days! But I still want to be held accountable, so I thought I should come here and at least post my weights, haha. Yesterday (New Year's Eve) I weighed in at 188.0 lbs on the dot, but the festivities for my New Year's celebration led me to be a very bad girl last night - mucho sugary alcoholic beverages, some cookies, and some chips n' salsa! - so I was incredibly, amazingly lucky to weigh-in at 188.8 lbs today. I wouldn't have been surprised to see that I'd gained 2 lbs overnight, LOL! So I'm hoping it was mostly water weight, and I was good today, so I'd better have a loss tomorrow! I'm so frustrated because I still haven't gotten under 188 lbs; this was my second time getting riiiight up to the edge, and then gaining the next day. Grrr! It was a MUCH smaller gain this time, though, so I'm sure I'll be hitting 187.something any day now.

Today I hit a new low, 158.4.. it technically puts me in the not-obese category! Yay!

The bad news is I weigh myself with kg scale and convert it online to lbs. I tested out some other converters today and found, in general, my normal converter was lower than average... using the average conversion, I weigh 158.7 ... which puts me still in the obese category.

Oh well... I'm using the lower one throughout my Biggest Loser challenge and after that, I'll start facing the music and using the higher (aka correct) one.

BUT... I'm still 72 kgs for the first time since I started my WL efforts. Yay!

Oh yeah, I also figured out I've lost more than 25% of the weight I need to lose. When I think of it that way, I think I can really do this!

*sigh* I can't seem to get past 140 - 139 ish. I keep going between 145 down to 139 but it won't go any lower! Really frustrating. I know I can be atleast 125 easily because I was that 2 years ago right before I quickly gained 30 pounds when I started college. I was sick recently and the doctor told me I'm not supposed to work out for 2 weeks because I passed out at work because of the fever. But this month I'm really gonna try for it!!!!

After 2 weeks of being stuck, I finally lost a pound. I am now a steady 1/2 pound a week which is fine with me at this rate I'm meet my goal in Feb. I'm so thrilled every pound means improved running performance.

Whoops, just realized that I forgot to post my weigh-in again! It was a lest pleasant one this time--189.0 lbs on the dot! Of course, it was only 0.2 lbs up from the day before, but I don't know how I managed to gain at ALL, so I was a little frustrated. But overall, I lost 3.8 lbs over the course of last week, which isn't so bad, eh? I'm REALLY looking forward to getting back to school, so I can finally regain an ounce of food sanity--yeesh. I've been eating like an absolute pig for the past few weeks of vacation, and I'm almost starting to disgust myself! I've more or less managed to maintain over the holidays, which I guess is pretty darn good, but I'm ready to LOSE again, ya know?! Hehe. I'm going back to school tomorrow, and I must say, it'll be nice to get back into the groove of things and not be surrounded by all the junk my family keeps in the house... I don't know how much longer my body can handle being fed all this crap, heh.

I'm also really glad that I can go back to weighing myself weekly instead of daily again! Daily weighing hasn't been nearly as much fun since I've gotten close to my goal, cuz it's coming over sooo much more slowly now, and these little fluctuations drive me nuts! I'm hiding my scale until next Friday! Hopefully I'll have a loss.

BLCarter - sorry about being on your TOM... i hate that and how it makes me feel (i.e., super fat compared to just heavy which is how i feel now)

Hello Ladies! It has been a while... but I hopped back on the scale this morning! I have to report a gain -- but it's a gain that isn't as big as I expected so that's alright! I am 180.2 lbs, which is 4 lbs higher than pre-holiday weight.

I'm right back on track now! Glad to see all of you never really got off of it! way to go

A lose of 0.4 lbs this week. I'm not sweating though, as it is just day two of my TOM. Hey water weight! I'm expecting a big lose next week.

I'm new, so no loss/gains yet, but I just wanted to tell you all how inspiring it is to hear your stories and see how hard you're all working to meet your goals! It makes me want to work hard as well, so that I too can post a good loss next week. Thanks!

Keep on truckin'...
