I have a weigh in tonight, weighted myself at lunch and the lovely scale in Chemist said I was down 5 pounds....

I hope its right....

I always get nervous. Or feel like I am going to the Headmasters office.

well I only lost 1 lb again this week. That means I am behind scheudle by 2 lbs, but I'm gonna keep on truckin'

leighish - IMHO you're entitled to have a little birthday cake every once in a while, hehe... Especially if it was your son's cake (which I saw in the phot thread and which you must've worked so freakin' hard to make!!).

Sharpie89 - 3.8 lbs, WOOHOO! That's great! And I feel for ya about the ticker--it can be sooo frustrating to have to wait it. You wanna show off all the progress you've made, hehe!

Arcana - It always feels good to come here and confess your "sins"/announce your recommitment... Cuz you know all of us have been there before, and we totally understand. Good luck getting back on track, girly!

LucyFM - Holy moly, 6 lbs, that is great! Looks like you are off to a truly awesome start, hehe. Keep it up!

katyp - Oooh, good luck at weigh-in today! From the sounds of it, you should have some good news coming to ya! And LOL, I know exactly what you mean about the headmaster's office! Stepping on the scale always feels sooo suspenseful to me... Like I'm waiting for someone to cue up the uber-dramatic music that they play on the Biggest Loser!

mojolove05 - Congrats on your loss! Again, someone whose attitude is so much better than my own. I lost 1 lb last week and I was pissed about it, heh (so unwarranted). But personally I think it's best not to worry about having a "schedule," too--goals (and mini-goals) are great, but as long as you reach them eventually, there's no need to put extra pressure on yourself to reach it by a certain TIME, too!

preppingbride - Bummer, man. Sorry that you had a bit of a bad week, but you absolutely have the right idea--hop back onto that treadmill, missy! (JK, hehe!) I know you will get right back on track, and those 5 lbs will be gone in no time. Good luck this week!

QTestRDH - Aw, sorry to hear that you had a gain this week, hon. This is just your body's way of telling you, "Hey QTestRDH, I'm not going to put you back in the 220s quite yet, but I just might go back there if you don't get your rear in gear!" (Jk!). And of course you are right--this week will be better. Best of luck!

Chance0421 - Oy, plateaus, what a freakin' buzzkill man! You go on and BUST through that sucker, woman! We all believe in you!

I weighed in at 180.6 lbs today, and I am pretty pleased with that. That is 1 lb down from Friday, heh (though only a net loss of 0.8 lbs since last Monday, booo). BUT, today is also my first day of TOM, so I'm probably retaining water, too. Eh. At any rate, I finally get to change my ticker, which I feel like I haven't done in forever... So that's a positive!

This week/upcoming weeken are going to be sooo hectic for me, ladies. I have zillions of pages of reading, a huge Linguistics assignment due Thursday, and a Social Sciences paper due next Monday--blech! I really hope I don't turn to food to allay all the stress, but I fear that I might. (WHY do I have to be such a terrible emotional eater?!) Wish me luck!

I lost 2.8 bs this week, bringing me down to 145.4. so close to goal!
also this is my last weigh in for January, and I ened up loosing over 10 lbs!

Y'all are doing soooo good... I am really looking forward to getting a ticker to use in my sig.. So far this month, I have dropped 10.2 lbs. I finally got down into the 180's and that was a motivator in of itself..

I don't have any folks locally here to diet with, and just seeing what y'all are doing is amazing...

195.2 today. Down only .6 this week but I'll take it. Any loss is a good loss. Especially at TOM.

okay I'm down 1.6 lbs from yesterday. I knew the 5 lb gain couldn't have been completely all fat.... 181.2 lbs
