  • NorthernExposure I'm so psyched for you, I can't wait to see your post when you hit 100lbs!

Fit4Lyfe I weigh myself over and over too! Not only that, but I move my scale all the way around my bathroom floor! (Because I obviously MUST weigh less that it says, I must have put it on an uneven part of the floor... right?) This happens every morning! lol. I hope you get a HUGE whoosh!!

    ----

Weighed in at 131.0 this morning. I can't believe that my weekend messed me up so bad! I saw 129.8 on Friday! Instead of letting that make me feel like I could eat whatever, I should have worked to make it stick!

Working extra hard this week to make that second digit a 2. I have a big fluffy salad with a bit of grilled chicken and tomato on it for lunch. Had Chobani greek yogurt for breakfast.

So, the boyfriend and I are close with all of his neighbors around his townhouse. Turns out that they're all having a block party next weekend and grilling out! Awesome, right? No. Not awesome -- because they're doing it around the POOL. The pool opens next weekend! It's already swimsuit season! Ugh! It snuck up on me!

Big hugs to everyone, make great decisions today!
  • Okay, so day one of the challenge went well. I tracked EVERYTHING I ate and came in right at 1200. I had to eat a fruit pop to make it happen. Of course, making that happen for one day is the easy part.

    Here goes day 2!

Dorian, I hear ya! I live in a neighborhood that is literally two blocks from the beach. I pay a little extra than I would have to in other neighborhoods simply for this feature - which means I'm GOING to the beach every weekend it is nice. Which means I MUST be prepared!
  • I'm in. I have to get over my obsession with the scale though so I am not weighing again until my next doctors appt on 5/13. After that I will weight on 5/29.

I want to lose 1lbs by then.
  • Hi Ladies! Missed you all dearly! My life got a little crazy over the past few weeks!!! My fiancee's thumb was broken, but he is healing nicely. Right after that, we ended up buying a house - so I have been in the process of moving all of my stuff, and now trying to fit it into my new house!! But I am here & committed.

My goal for this challenge is to lose 10 pounds, and to make sure I am doing at least 60 minutes of excersice at least 5-6 days a week. This is normal for me, but have got out of the habit over the last few weeks due to the move!
  • Uggg, the scale and I have been fighting, it's jumped up about 3lbs from my last weigh in, 9 days ago, and I can't figure out why. I did have Chinese Food (as planned) on Thursday night, but was right back on plan on Friday morning, and have stayed on plan ever since. While I may be holding some water from sodium, I can't imagine that I have been retaining water for so long. I don't know, but it's frustrating. I am going to eat very clean for the next few days, and see what happens. Still pretty upsetting since I am staying on plan and all. GRRRR.
  • I'm in for the challenge ladies. Unfortunately I only lost .2lbs overall for my last challenge. This time I"m starting from the beginning, so I want to lose 10lbs.

cant really talk much now, i'm at work but i will try and check in later.
  • Hi I'm a little late but I want to jump in here!

My goals for this challenge are:

    1. Drink 96oz of water every day.
    2. Exercise (gym or 30DS) at least 4x a week.
    3. Stay OP at 1350 cals 5 days a week.
    4. Lose 10 lbs.

    Here goes nothing!
  • gOOD MORNING LADIES !! && Hello to the new ppl joining more support is always a good thing..

today has been kinda weird for me,my body feels fatigued & I feel sorta dizzy. might be my iron, I Dunno .. anyway, its true that the more stuff you learn the more you realize that you dont know sh*t !!! I know with my height, weight & activity level, I should be eating around 2500 - 2800 calories a day.. Ive never ate that much.. 2000 at the most & 1200 at the least .... Butt it seems like the more I eat, the more I lose .. I dunno if that makes sense & I dont understand it at all. I messed up so bad last week, I know I went over at least twice... I ate candy, etc .. I know I didnt go CRAZY, but I still messed up & went OP ...... yet I lost & lost inches as well .. the first month of me doing this, I was restricting myself to about 1200-1500 cals a day .. & I was losing like a pound a week ... but the more I eat, I can lose like 2.5 - 3lbs a week .. its weird to me ..t he only thing I can think of is maybe its my metabolism speeding up since it's gotten a boost from all the dieting & cutting back .. Eh I dunnoo I really wish I could have this thing figured out already..

*sigh* anyway ladies, I hope everyone is having a good beginning of the week .. take care, sugarplums..

  • Hi Calorie Counters, I'm in! My goal for April had been to lose 8lbs, though it looks like I'll only lose 4, maaaaybe 5. Memorial Day Goals:

    1. Count. Every single day. (Stop letting baseball games mess you up!)
    2. Keep up with and track my walking
    3. Lose 8 lbs (this should follow the first two)

Good luck to everyone, lots of great goals-- it's good to know I'm not doing this alone!

Off to record the banana, almonds, and coffee I've had today.
  • Dorian5 I was at swimsuit season sneaking up on you...because I totally feel the same way, "like it was just winter yesterday, it's already time to break out the summer dresses? d@mn" lol

P H A T You might have something there with eating more...some science says, feeding your body more at intervals makes your metabolism work harder and harder to lose...I find that sometimes having a high calorie days, followed by 2 or 3 subsequently lower cal days causes a "whoosh" effect...IDK, just food for thought

OhMyDogs Sorry Hun, I am officially plateauing and it sucks majorly!!! So I know how you feel, I hate the scale right now

farn00a57,scout83,corazonas,melissakd,Amberelise,d jbutterfly,becky144 and anybody else I missed: and

Magenta for me!!! LOL. Okay, so I am officially plateauing ladies, I have been looking at 238 since April 13th and it majorly sucks. I am just going to stick it out though, because I'm starting my boot camp on May 2nd and that should really give my weight loss the it needs; I have soooo much going on later this year that I really want to break into Onderland by September, maybe August if I'm really good (lol) so I can look my best!!! I'm off to power walk ladies...remember: nothing tastes as good as being thin feels!!! (so says some stick figure model chick, lol)
  • Good morning everyone! Well, it's morning here. I drank 83oz of water yesterday and today I have gained 1.8 lbs. I hate water weight.
  • Awww...thanks Phat! I hope I can make it by memorial day too. I think it's going to be close, but I'm going to give it my best shot!

Tired: wow, 14 lbs in 5 weeks! You must be a fast loser. I'm thinking 5 lbs is a stretch for me, lol. Good for you! Can I ask when you started your weight loss journey?

    Farn: Welcome back!

Fit: BOO for TOM! Mine is in my near future as well. On top of the damage control for overeating this past weekend, I must prepare for a rough start to this challenge. But all's well that ends well, right?? I can hope anyway!

Dorian: thanks! Even though I'm not ready for swimsuit season, I'm sure ready for swimsuit weather!!

Newbies: Thanks for joining us...this is a great group of ladies!

As for me: Yesterday was technically part of my long weekend as I had it off, but after going a little too crazy Saturday and Sunday, my plan was to get fully back OP. I did good with calories (around 1450), but didn't get my exercise in. We did take our camper out of storage yesterday though (yay! Finally...can't WAIT to go camping!) so I did get some activity in with that, but probably not enough. No more excuses today! Calories and exercise WILL happen the rest of this week!
