Unhappy I wish this war would just go away

I love everyone.

They make poor innocent sheep smoke????

The thermostat in my oven is broken. Everything turns black when I bake because the temperature shoots up to 450°F no matter what I set it at. How rude. Must make dh fix it.

Off to bed. Big hugs to everyone, no matter what nationality! I'm not watching the news any more. Depressed enough already.

That's some mighty big words you typed, Peachie-Pie. I'm glad to hear DS hasn't been smoking. It's nice of you to wait to hear what you're allow to think; that's what we're fighting this war for, right? The right to tell people what to think. Or is it the freedom to say whatever we're told? I forgot what I was supposed to say.

Sugar, that's very annoying about your oven. Although you could sprinkle some pepper on everything and call it blackened. Although blackened cake might not go over well.

I have a .

And nothing to say

I just want y'all to know I feel so good. Today is the anniversary of the day 15 years ago when I found ds on the shelf in the dollar store among the other babies for sale and smacked some woman in the face when she grabbed for him first.

I have a too, Kiwi. Quit passing it on.

On April 11th it will be 23 years since DD arrived on the scene. No wonder you have such a cute little figure, Peaches. I had to go through 9 months of stretch marks and several hours of painful childbirth. I wish someone would have told me about dollar stores back then.

Don't fix the oven, Sugar Pie, it's a good excuse for take out. I'm so sick of cooking meals and being responsible for buying groceries I could The worst part is thinking up something to cook. I'm fresh out of ideas. DH has gained about 10 pounds since he quit smoking in January, and he wants me to cook low calorie stuff, but I forget how. Did I tell you my DD hasn't smoked in 6 weeks?? My house smells so good now.

Bunco is at my house on Saturday night. I'm feeling overwhelmed. I have no time to clean the house and do all the hostessy things you need to do before allowing 11 women in the door.

Good luck on Bunco night, Wab. Get Lushie to force you to clean and stuff, she's good at that.

Big congrats on Peachboybirthday -- And I second Wabbit, I had no idea they had those at the Dollar Store, but now I understand why ours is called the Family Dollar. I think they are carrying seconds, though, but most of the kids around here are a little off.

I am delighted to hear that your DD has quit smoking, Wabbit!! That must be quite a relief (and a big improvement in air quality).

I couldn't have given you my , Wab, I still have it.

ooooh-oooh! I never noticed the little "this person is online now" button down at the bottom of this screen! Bagzie is online right now!!! How cool is that?

I just ate a Wendy's Mandarin Chicken salad. Then I went to their website and checked the calorie count. I really figured it couldn't be too bad - Wrong!!!! It was 620 calories!!! argh! Too bad it was so good!

I'm still fat, even though I've been being good for 3 days now (except for that durn salad, but I really had good intentions.)

You got a great deal on that boy, Peachy! He's a keeper. And probably a chick-magnet by now too, huh? Happy Birthday ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!

Bagzie! I think the Queen has enough to worry about with her own nutty family (who I love dearly, royalist that I am!). She's always nice to Canadians so she can continue to stroll the streets of beautiful downtown Victoria. I saw her once behind the darkened window of a limousine when she was visiting. One of my friends got a gold styrofoam cup. Classy, eh? I knew you'd think so.

All you other cows are just adorable, but it's almost midnight again and my bed is calling.

Au reservoir for now!

Happy belated birthday (or rather, happy birthday belatedly) to the Peach-boy!

I'm doing WW (though not officially.) I'm on Day Two. Yesterday, I had 35 points, today I'll probably have 19. I'm supposed to have 22-27 points a day, with 3 to 5 more depending on my exercise.

I was at 181 yesterday, but because I have *that* excuse, I'm waiting until tomorrow to do my "official" weight and measurements for the month. I suspect I won't make the 15 pound challenge... but I'm trying!

Cherry! WW is a great program. My DD is joining a group tonight. I hope she does well at it. She probably will -- she's pretty determined. She had a customer at work tell her that she'd lost 100 pounds in the last year doing WW, so she's pretty enthused.

Where are all the rest of you cows??

Lush, how do I clean house and make food for 12 ppl? I forget.

Oh, I'm here, I'm just so booooooooring, you couldn't see it when I posted. Okay, I didn't post. My is almost gone. I love typing , it's more fun than just typing the word.

I'm still 184. Yay me. However I desperately need exercise. I have no excuses. Somebody push me out the door.

Here's a fable:

This man placed a classified in the paper offering people information on how to work out of their homes. They had to send him $15 for the info. Then he cancelled that and ran one saying he was starting a church in our town and needs donations to help him get started.

Supply your own moral.

I am cute as usual and very round at the part that fits between the arms of the chair. Nothing else to say. *kiisssssss*

Sounds like a really fine person, just the kind I would want to entrust my money and my soul to.

Actually, if everybody sends me $15, I will gladly tell them how to work in their home.

I am sooooo sick. And yet I am here at work because today is payday and there is no one else who can do paychecks. And also because there is no one else to fill in for me. I have a sick-migraine. The kind where I'm sick all over from the top of my head to my toes. Feel sorry for me.

The moral is, as long as there are ppl stupid enough to send him money, he will be thinking up scams.

I have ppl coming to my house in less than 48 hours with plans to play bunco. I am sick. My house is a mess. waaaaaahhhhhhh.

Unhappy Oh Poor Wabbit!!

So sorry you are feeling so awful. I'm writing this in a soothing blue, so it won't hurt too bad to read. I think I am finally over my migraine -- it must have been from the same migraine tree as yours. Sicky sick for several days. I think you should get all those nice guys you are cutting paychecks for to come over and clean your house and go shopping for you. You can sit in a big chair with an ice bag on your head and direct them here and there.

My cleanie dietitian friend's dh just lost his job -- he works for another paper mill an hour away from here. The stupid company GEORGIA PACIFIC (sorry Wabbit, didn't mean to yell) is closing them down and taking the equipment right out of the mill -- not even selling the facility or anything. Just bye-bye suckers, nice leaching money from you

This company is the same one that bought my dh's mill years ago in an unfriendly takeover, and then sold them a few years later. It's never been a healthy company since G-P touched them. Do I sound bitter? Would you like to hear my rant about George Bush?
Oh, okay, I won't then.

So this c-d-f's birthday is tomorrow. Happy Birthday, dear, you're the sole breadwinner! Doesn't life suck? What do you get someone whose dh just lost his job? (This shouldn't be that hard a question for me, hmmmm )

It's a beautiful sunny day. I should be outside. I sold something else on eBay -- a used Barbie Fashion Designer CD-ROM with half the materials used up.
