I really applaud all of you for doing this. I have P90X, and it's sitting patiently in my closet waiting for me to be ready. It's too hard on my knees at this point, but I plan on trying again in about 20 pounds. I really liked the workouts, my knees just hate them!!

When I first did yoga, I really didn't like it. The moving portion seemed tedious, but as I went on I realized I loved yoga! I just didn't like it at first because it was hard, but since it's not a pulse racing workout I didn't notice it was hard because it wasn't making me feel exhausted I just realized I couldn't hold the poses right until I got a little more stronger and more flexible. I improved so much in yoga it was crazy and I plan to keep it up now that I am finished

DH is downstairs doing P90X for the first time. When I hear screaming, does that mean I should check on him?

We just got the DVDs and I look forward to giving it a shot when I heal from a recent surgery!

Ashley, I'm not a big Yoga fan, but I go to classes because I always feel amazing afterwards and benefit in the long run. I look forward to the yoga part!

Bleh I did 30 minutes of the Core excersis...it's just not the same. I think I can stick to Jillian Michaels because I have a slight woman crush on her...maybe thats my issue if I don't think your hot and your telling me to workout...I don't want to do it haha.

Ashley-Yea Yoga wasn't my favorite but I was also doing it on tile and I haven't bought a yoga mat yet. Maybe this next go round will be better.

I just finished Plyometrics...well about 40 minutes of it. It killled me. I made a protein shake and a little bit of whole wheat pasta, chicken and peas. Probably too much but I don't think i am taking in enough calories. I was dead tired today at work and REALLY didn't want to do anything. Legs and Back is suppose to be tomorrow but I have a feeling that my legs will be of no use to me the next couple of days after this @ss wooping tonight.

MiZ-30 minutes is great! Thats 30 minutes you didn't do yesterday or last week or whenever it was you decided to do something greater for yourself. Remember that.

June-- haha! Nahhh let him feel the burn! It's when you stop hearing gasps for air is when you should probably check on him.

Good luck on yoga! That's always been my least favorite. The fact that I'm ridiculously not flexible makes it even worse because not only is it boring, it's extra hard and I look extra goofy. I just have to tell myself that it's good for me and I definitely need the flexibility. And whoever decided it should come after shoulders & arms day is evil.

Shelly, I do my workouts on tile too, and it's rough! I don't think I'd recommend doing legs and back after plyo. That's two really rough days on your legs back to back. I just finished plyo, and I'm really happy I only have a 6 hour shift at work tomorrow because I don't think I can handle being on my feet for my usual 9-10 hour shifts.

But as sore and tired as I am after just 2 days, I feel amazing. I just have to remember this when it gets boring and hard and I want to quit again.

Well ladies I just finished my 90 some odd minute yoga x and I L-O-V-E-D it!! I could actually do all the poses and I've never done yoga before
I think my favorite is going to be the Kenpo but we shall see in 2 days!

I've decided that P90X is my favorite least boring workout routine I've ever done. Definitely going to stick to the exact routine for the next 85 days and then gonna switch it up and probably do the regular version instead of the lean.

I'm so excited to start my P90X now that I've found this thread!

I'm also terrified that I won't be able to handle it because I'm out of shape.

I am hoping to start it next Monday and I look forward to watching everyones progress here! Good luck!

Shoulders and Arms... Done! If I skip Ab Ripper and do Yoga after work, I'll only be one day behind due to stupid chest cold...

ANEWME- Take it a little at a time. The point of it is to give it your all, do it correctly and only go to your MAX. Do not exceed that breaking point otherwise you won't want to come back and do more. I would definitely suggest trying to finish each video. Don't allow yourself to sit down and if something is a little intense, walk around for a bit and then jump back in before you have a chance to talk yourself out of it.

Blcarter- Yoga wasn't my favorite and in fact I had troubles doing it but then again I don't have a yoga mat and my socks were slipping allll over the place. I'm going to go buy a yoga mat this weekend and give it another go. Being that I am so heavy it is really a challenge to hold my own body weight at times especially in some of those positions--but all the better for my overall goal right?! When I was thinner I had the most amazing flexibility--thanks to my water ballet and gymnastic mother! I think I have somewhat good flexibility for someone my size but hopefully soon I will be able to really get the good stretches going.

Tracyo-I have dificulty with my bands not being able to give me enough resistance. I would love to have dumbbells but I move so often that they are a serious pain in the patoot to lug around not to mention good ones are expensive. I'm going to go to the sports store this weekend and find some weight coded bands. They are much lighter and easier to store. You will be fine, do it to it girl!

Brooks-Way to go! I should probably start making up my time gaps and do two in a day but my schedule is getting more and more condensed as I have more to do now that school is back!

I have tried P90X, but didn't stick with it. I still have all my dvds, so I should give it another shot. My co-worker has been doing it for a while and he looks great now...so I know it works. It's just committing to it that's hard for me.

Shelly- I definitely say get a mat...even look on ebay for a nice one at a cheaper price. And I totally LOVE being barefoot

Annah- I just finished day 5 of P90X and I can tell you I am sooo in love!! I think what makes it easier for me is that I have been doing Ultimate Tae Bo(which is an hour long) until I worked my way up to doing it 6 or 7 days a week. If I wouldn't have done that I dont think I would be sticking to this workout regime. But with a 4 yr old and a 7 mo. old and working full time my life is crazy!! I always make time for my workout no matter what

So I just finished LEgs and Back and my second round of Ab Ripper X...and I am totally in love with P90X. I love that I can get such a diverse and wonderful workout from home. Can't wait to take my 30, 60, 90, and 180 day pictures!!

Keep it up GIRLS!

Got more than halfway through yoga... Gave it a good effort and I'm ok with calling Yoga done for the week. Every time I went into downward dog my nose started dripping... Good excuse to use the kleenex box as a yoga block, right?
