I chose my initial goal weight of 180 arbitrarily. Being overweight for all of my adult life (and as a teen), I didn't really have any idea how I would appear after losing a substantial amount of weight. I'd always assumed that if I needed to stop before I reached 180, I'd be able to. I'm now very close to my first amended goal of 170, which I've again lowered to 160. I'm working on toning my body more extensively now than I was in the past, so I'm sure my body has a lot of changes ahead.
