Since I'm up at 2 am unable to sleep (this happens now and then) I'll be the first one to post on Aug first? I did my 40 min lower body weight training yesterday, today is cardio day for me in my BFL plan. I started the forum that crashed in June, then in July I was gone a lot - so someone else started this one for me. Great to have so many new people, I hope more stick with it throughout the month for support. Us bootcamp girls are enjoying each other's company in our mission to lose and get in shape!

Good Morning Ladies!
My starting weigh is 137, I hope I reach 132.. With a lot of Jump Rope I think it's possible. I also took my other measurements today, to see what happens..
I'm starting of my workout later tonight, by doing 45 min TaeBo and some crunches. Will maybe spend one hour to work in the yard to, if it doesn't rain. Have a nice first day everyone!! It's now or never!

GOOD MORNING GIRLS! YOU READY TO WORK??? It is Officially August - and it's time to MOVE IT TO LOSE IT!
As promised - here's my goals:

1. This morning's official August weigh in went well! I'm at #186.6. My goal for August is to KISS THE #180's GOODBYE! So I need a #6.8 loss this month!

2. I NEED this one! I've been slacking BIG time! So my goal is a minimum of 30 minutes 4x's a week. I'm going to incorporate a short 10-15 minutes into the morning routine too.

3. This one's no problem for me. I post 3 times an hour!

4. I'm sticking to what works: IF HUNGER IS NOT THE PROBLEM THEN FOOD IS NOT THE ANSWER!

5. I'm a calorie counter. My goal is 1200-1500 a day. I allow myself one "cheat" day every 2 weeks of up to 1800 cals. This really works for me! I don't limit what I eat, just how much. I still allow myself some "junk" food - if I didn't I'd binge like a mad woman!

6. This week this hasn't been a problem... but usually it is. I'm working on it! 6.5 hours of restful sleep would do me good!

7. I have a few BIG ROCKS (see horsey I'm a covey girl too. ) that I need to conquer. I think this month I'm going to focus on eating at home more. I'm notorious for going out 2 times a day... I have to stop that. It's not healthy, and the $ I'm wasting is INSANE!

So there you have it. Come in - post often. Keep us updated on your successes as well as bumps in the road! But most of all! WORK IT! WE'RE WORTH IT!

1. SHOOT AND SCORE!- I plan to lose 19 pounds this month. Yes, I know its quite alot but I have alot of water weight to lose since I gained 12 pounds in the last 2 weeks.

2. WORK! COVER GIRL!!! I plan to do at least 60 minutes 7 days a week. This includes strength and cardio, I do 30 day shred, biggest loser cardio max and power sculpt, walk away the pounds, soon to start couch to 5k and I use my bowflex. So I will rotate everything as best as I can.

3. COME ON IN THE WATER'S FINE! I'll try to check in everyday!

4. YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW "Nothing tastes as good and being thin feels"

5. TODAY IS TOMORROW'S YESTERDAY! I will try my best for this. I usually plan out everything in my head but sometimes it doesn't go as well as I would like!

6. WITHOUT ENOUGH SLEEP WE ALL BECOME TALL TWO-YEAR-OLDS! I am trying to get this together. Soon my kids are starting school and I will start waking up at 6:00-6:30 sooo I'm gonna have to hit the bed by 10-10:30.

7. BALANCE, PEACE AND JOY ARE THE FRUIT OF A SUCCESSFUL LIFE! Everything needs balance lol. I would like to get my life more organized and since both my kids start school I will have a few hours to get everything together!

Good luck girls!

Ok, I'm up to try another challenge here. I have already started the 21-day challenge, but I need all the motivation possible--and encouragement to do many posts.

1. CW: is 201.4. Goal will be to be below 195. So 6.5 lbs--I can do it!
2. Already ramped up to shoot for 7 days/week of some activity
3. Agreed
4. Motto: I want a lot of things, that doesn't mean I should get them!
5. Agree, will try
6. Agree
7. Balance! Well, there are so many areas! I will work on finances, organization, no more procrastination, home relationships, ok, that's enough for now!

Just a note about me--moved from Illinois to Florida, now to CA all within last 2.5 years, chaotic job changes went along with that, was creeping up in weight, got to 230 last August started to eat better and exercise, lost down to 190 by February, then went back up to 213, now back to 201. Talk about a yo-yo! Trying to effect a permanent change for myself now.

I wanna join too! It's my first time, so forgive me if I mess up. I am printing out the original post to put on my bulletin board because I have a HORRIBLE memory... I'm shooting for 10 lbs lost this month. I keep sabotaging myself and I've been stuck around 149 lbs (give or take) for quite some time now.

I might need some help along the way with this!

Default too much fun

Good Morning All! Best of luck this first day to Everybody , and
thanks for getting us started Enygirl.

Here are my vitals:

1. SHOOT AND SCORE: Number one goal is to lose 5 lbs. I will weigh in at the gym during the noon hour, but I should be about 150 lbs I think, so the goal weight is 145lbs. I had DH take my measurements this morning.
I think my measurements are:
bust 40.5
waist 38
hips: 40.5, but it was 4:30am so I'm not sure how reliable those measurements are .

2. WORK! COVER GIRL!-- I'm good with 30 mins. of exercise 4 days a week. My personal goal is minimum 30 minutes 7 days a week. I have been doing the elliptical pretty faithfully, but I would like to add some variation. DH & DD bought me a WiiFit, so ideally I'd like to add that in the evening. I guess I'm getting the cardio all right, but I'd like to vary it with a combination of WiiFit, balance ball workout (free DVD from McDonalds!), and maybe some weights a few days a week.

3. COME ON IN THE WATER'S FINE!-- This will be easy for me. I LOVE 3FC!!!! I was the lurking cheater last month, but I promise to post regularly this month.

4. YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW. I still need to think about this one some. Mostly, I just want to copy you all. There are some great thoughts here.

5. TODAY IS TOMORROW'S YESTERDAY! This is really a challenge for me, and makes all the difference too. I ride share to work most days, so I can't go to the store through the week, and it really helps to go twice through the week in order to keep fresh food around. I may ask my ride share buddies if they'd like to make a pit stop mid-week. It's pretty far back into town, and plus I'm pooped in the evening. I will binge on unhealthy food if I can't get to the store often enough. I am doing pretty well with the calorie counting thing (using my blog and www.calorie-count.com). BTW, Enygirl,
you said "Also if you're a points/calorie counter, schedule an approximate of haw many per each meal." What's 'haw' mean?

6. WITHOUT ENOUGH SLEEP WE ALL BECOME TALL TWO-YEAR-OLDS! No problem. I love sleep almost as much as 3FC

7. BALANCE, PEACE< and JOY ARE THE FRUIT OF A SUCCESSFUL LIFE! I, too, need to work on balance in my life. I have many, many things I love to do, but only so much time in the day. I am going to try to spread myself around more evenly and be proud of that, rather than being frustrated with all the things I don't get done.

Whee!!! Here we go!!!

Pigginpodgey. I'm sooo jealous of the Scotland move. Let us know how you like it. It's number one on my list of places to visit.

AND PenChick, I am also a big Cubbies fan. It often keeps me from getting my exercise in though, because they take precedence over almost everything . I missed yesterday's game, but it looks like it was a humdinger!!!!

Best of Luck today!

I'm so ready for this month to get into high gear!

1. My CW this morning was 245. My goal is to lose 10lbs and hopefully more.
2. My workout plan is already 1.5 hrs 6x a week.
3. I promise to post at least 3x a week.
4. My mantra is....Action is the foundational key to success-Pablo Picasso
5. I will plan my meals and snacks
6. I sleep about 7hrs a night.
7. I will work on my attitude...I'm still a little lazy on the weight loss thing.

Good morning! I'm up and waiting for the fridge repairman to come. His "appointment" is anytime he shows up today between 8 and 4. I hate it when this happens! But hopefully everything will be fixed and ready to go! The minute he leaves I am going for a walk.

Have a great first day everyone!!!

So far so good - lol.

Calorie count sheets are on the counter and being used. I've already planned, logged and packed my lunch. Like I said - planning ahead is paramount! Its so easy to grab anything to stave off my hunger.

DH and I are into hiking but haven't done so in a while (wedding, honeymoon and all that jazz). I'm looking into some new trails to explore and some old ones to revisit. I'm hoping to get a hike in sometime this weekend.

Looks like we have quite a group here. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's progress.

3 goals - lose 6 lbs, run 2.5+ miles/ min. of 13x's in August, drink my water

2. WORK! COVER GIRL!!! You MUST do at LEAST 30 mins of exercise 4 days a week! my additional exercise of 30 mins/4 days will be all strength training

3. COME ON IN THE WATER'S FINE! No problem!

4. YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW
"One Day at a Time"

5. TODAY IS TOMORROW'S YESTERDAY!
I'm going to incorporate my journaling into this guideline.

6. WITHOUT ENOUGH SLEEP WE ALL BECOME TALL TWO-YEAR-OLDS! This is a tough one! But I do love my bed especially right after the sheets come out of the dryer

7. BALANCE, PEACE AND JOY ARE THE FRUIT OF A SUCCESSFUL LIFE! With school coming at the end of this month, I need to get organized. I'm going to start making my plans and getting a better grip on Flylady

A little about me. Mother of 3, son is 9 1/2, daughter 7 1/2, baby girl 18 months. Amazing DH. Working hard to run my first 5K Sept 14th. I'm excited to meet everyone. Best of luck!

I'M SO HAPPY TO SEE SO MANY FACES! I think now that Summer's dying down people are getting back to the basics and focusing on on their time to do this! I'M EXCITED!

I'm going to Amazon right now to buy some new DVDs to use for working out. It's SO easy for me to burn a TON of money there though!
