I've made my goal for next week to get to a total percentage lost of over 5%. I'm at 4 something now, but I'm going to do it darn it. While I was looking at the chart I noticed there are a few people who haven't weighed in for over a month. I was thinking about removing them, but wanted to check with everyone to see how they feel about it before I do. While their numbers do increase our total pounds lost, since they aren't checking in they do kind of bring down our percentages since they're not losing anything every week. How does everyone feel about removing them?
Sarah, you have nothing to be ashamed of. You've lost over 20 pounds and have kept it off! And that's only since January! That's something to be pretty darn proud of chickie!
Kay7jay, I know what you mean, I've heard & read so much different advice that I don't know what to think. All I know is what I'm doing is working for me, slowly, but it is working & I don't feel deprived. However, I've noticed through tracking my information that the calories I'm eating is creeping up a little bit every week. I don't really set a limit, but I am aiming for about 1,700 per day, but noticed last month I was averaging 1,800 & so far this month over 1,850. That may be why my weight loss this month is down. While I do maintain a defict every day (almost) it's taking longer to get to that 3,500 calorie deficit & see a pound lost.
So if I want to hit my goal by the 4th I better start buckling down & eating a little less than I am now.
Tontus, great job! They say that changing it up is good for you & keeps you from getting too used to a routine. Keep up the great work.
Have a great OP week everyone.
Kim
