What a lovely night at Busch Stadium. The temp came down due to some small storms in the area.

Also helped that we got the win.

See Clyde? This is why I am negative about my team. Unbelievably bad. Glad you have fun at the game though! Cooler temps would be nice.

Chris Carpenter will have surgery this month. He has thoracic outlet syndrome. A big surgery.

Hasn't thrown a pitch since game 7 of the World Series. We couldn't have done it without him.

He hopes to be back in time for Spring Training.

Wait a day and everything doesn't seem so bad after all. I'm talking to you Diane

So we will go back at it again.

A baby bunny was spotted near the Cardinals dugout the past 2 nights. Cuter than this guy.

Happy 4TH of July. Enjoy your games and fireworks.

OT our fireworks have been cancelled due to the fire danger. The nearest display is at the Arch. May have to watch them on the tele this year.

David Ortiz hit his 400th HR today

That was the highlight of a miserable road trip losing 5-7 games.
Couple more guys injured, a pitcher added to the DL..

Yankees in for 4 games before the AS break...

Do pigeons count as rally birds ?

They look good at the moment. Andrew McCutchen is having a great season.

Back in first....just hope we can field 9 guys each game and don't have to forfeit...why is it only your good guys get hurt?...or so it seems.

So, if there is a baby bunny with the Cardinals, is that a rally bunny??

Yep, won one and lost 2 so far with the Cardinals. It seems like the Rockies can manage to win one in every series. That's why we're at the bottom of the division.

We had no fireworks either, Clyde. I really can't tell you where there were any fireworks in Colorado. They made it illegal to shoot off any at your home either and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't hear any at all. I think the images we have seen have made it clear that we don't want to do anything at all that might cause another one.

It could be #RallyRabbit. Saw that on Twitter. He was cute but no-one is jumping on that bandwagon.

I think MLB is losing it's mind. All this carry on over the All Star Game. They are now having people tweet the name of the player they want selected.

And yes a lot of Cardinals fans are doing it. 1 person one vote please.

Last series before the ASG.

Miami in town.

We are going to the game tonight. High of 106 today.

The promotion tonight is replica world series rings. They did this on Opening Weekend and it was a huge hit. So one more time and they look really good

Clyde, try to stay cool! Wow! They are really having the heat there right now. Our local sports guys were saying that they think the heat had a little bit to do with the Rockies loss last night. I guess they think your players didn't have to play in the heat, too. Whatever.

Gary, you get to be 1st in our division with your little leaguers because our whole division is made up of little leaguers! Kinda embarrassing!!
