Having a 5-0 lead and losing to the Angels the other day was bad...

going down 0-4 in the first yesterday against the giants and then giving up 4 more unanswered runs was worse...

blue Tuesday

What to say about last night?

Down 6-1 then come back to tie it in the 9th and win in the 10th 8-6.

Of course we also had the mess with the line up card. Thank you Bob Davidson. He admitted to Ozzie it was his mistake but we still lost a player because of it.

Never fear our rookie pitcher will bat in the 10th with the bases loaded and hit an infield single.

You have to love baseball

You just never know.

We won! Winning streak started....

So, I heard that President Obama was trash talking to Red Sox fans. He said something like "Thank you for Youklis!". Not sure that was a smart move for someone who is campaigning! ha!

Nice win today and Ortiz hit HR #399.
Hmmm, you know I hate to see teams lose guys to the DL, we've had more than our share this season...
But... the Yankees put 2 starters on the DL today, Sabathia with a groin sprain and Pettitte has a fractured ankle. If it had to happen, it is really good timing for us.

I should keep quiet because spot starts usually end up with a headlines like " Who could have asked for more out of so-n-so".
We shall see next week.

Enjoy your games everyone

The Boston Good Guys are only 2 games out of Wild Card. (I remember when we used to measure ourselves from out of First Place, LOL.)

SweetC - are you going to go see the Ortiz #400? Next game, yes?

All in all a good road trip 6-3.

Back home to the Lou and the triple digit heat.

Don't you hate those headlines?

Colorado down and out for the most part. They're playing right now and it is close. Nice to see. Sad that it is all I have to cheer about... not being embarrassed by a blow out loss!!!

Back home for 10 games before the All Star Break.

We are going to the game tonight against the Pirates. Who are doing very well at the moment.

It's going to be 106 degrees

It's Carlos Beltran jersey promotion night. He has turned out very nicely for us.

I'm hoping he gets his 2,000th hit.

Stay cool.

We lost to Seattle last night or this morning, whenever the heck it was, it was a bummer.
We could have picked up a full game because the rest of the AL East lost their games

I'm drinking iced coffee so I can stay up for the game and probably and entire week no worries Bill, I've got it covered

Well that sucked.

Our bullpen sucks big time. Just horrible.

Mo better get out there and get us some bullpen help before we sink any deeper.

I paid money to watch that tonight.

And it was 102 degrees

People were dropping like flies.

We couldn't throw a strike to save our lives.

I stayed to the last out. Am I crazy?

On a more positive note Carlos Beltran got his 2,000th hit of his major league career.

That was nice to see.

Think good thoughts.

Tomorrow is a new day.
