I was under the weather for a few days,
I'm better now and for some crazy reason I'm craving chocolate
Sox schedule before the All Star break, 7 games on the west coast, then come home for 4 against the Yanks including a doubleheader.
Re: Mr. Youkilis trade, I love Kevin but would someone please just rip that bandaid off,
I can't stand the chatter anymore

Breaks my heart to lose this guy. But Sweetcaroline is right, stop talking about it already.
Where does one go to get a refund on a Youkilis Red Sox Jersey?

The same place you go to get refunds on Pujols' jerseys.

I would personally like to thank Pujols for our win yesterday...
without him it wouldn't have been possible!

There is an 85 year old man at church that I have known for over 30 years. He sits in a pew in front of me. Other than a couple of others and my family, we are pretty much the only
DODGER fans in a Padre country church.
Since he sits in front of me I usually wait for him to get to my row then we walk out of the sanctuary together sharing baseball stories during the season.
He is hard of hearing now so he speaks a little extra loud. He lives in a nursing home and his sports channels are limited. This morning the first thing he says to me is...
rather loud...
"I can't stand ESPN...all they show is those stupid east coast teams. I hate those damn Yankees and Red Sox!"
I love this guy!

I'm going to miss Youk , and his true grit.
A tearful day at Fenway for fans and players, but he went out the right way. We'll see him in July when the White Sox come to town...
Your friend is right Gary... and they are doing it again tonight. Yanks and Mets, but should be a good one, R.A. against C.C.

When it comes to Angels, I usually stay on that side of the plate...
but they are really beginning to annoy me!
And to top it off my GRANDdaughter2 was captured in a picture, posted on FB, wearing a PINK padre shirt at the game today...
has the kidnapper no shame?

What to do? What to do?
It's all about the pitching.
Are we going to see another trade like last year?

Up 3 and going up to play those giants...
their good pitching and our pretty much zero sticks...
this could get ugly.

I don't even know what to add to the discussion. Rockies are pathetic. So sad. And I get so mad when I see Jim Tracy hanging his head in the dugout. That's just great for a leader. No wonder it looks like none of them want to be there. Just exciting. So dynamic.

I know what you mean Dianne ...
that look one gets when they are disappointed in their man/men...
Angie has that look often.
