Morning all,
Today I find myself with a mouse which works and doesn't keep scrolling up and down the page constantly. Ever tried catching up with the page as it goes up and down. There's the bit I want - just down there oh oh up there, oh oh over there. Such fun.
Carla - Bruce funnily enough is one of the brothers names. When we first came over here, there weren't too many Bruce's or David's and every time I met one he was a Kiwi. Someone asked me once if everyone male in NZ was called Bruce or David. I said no, but my brothers were Bruce and David. That sort of cracked the party up.
They tell me that if you remember the sixties you weren't really THERE. Well I was there all right, let me tell you, and I (cringe, cringe) remember it very well.
Ceejay - sorry to hear that you are still not well. Hurry up and get back into the swing of it.
Meadow, hope you had a wonderful birthday and are still celebrating it. We need a list of pressies as well.
Happy - doubt whether you would have found Wollongong on any spell check, but I'm sure the good people will forgive you since most of them can't spell it anyway. I do my Body Balance class from memory mostly and add in a whole raft of abs exercises to round out the 35-40 minutes. I should really walk in the mornings as well since there are too many people around doing the daily exercise after 5.00pm. Next week I might try the Rockpool on the foreshore. It seems very popular in the afternoons. It may need to warm up maybe??? I'll see if I can get some photos next week for you all. I didn't bring the camera down this week. Too many other things to think of.
Mel - Uniforms??? No - all you'll see around here are coal black miners mostly. Actually the place is full of Kiwis. This office I am sitting in today has 3 others. We're thinking of calling it Kiwi Corner. I see NZ tee shirts being worn all around the place. Still haven't tried to see if Kiwi Annie is in town or not. Thanks for yesterday's hug. I needed that.
Right - off before I get into trouble here. There is a North Island, South Island argument going on. Since I am the lone Southerner, I must defend the mainland.
