Well the Birds have a day off today.
Thank goodness they need it after all the mistakes over the weekend.
Terrible baseball.

Boy, saw that fire. Way more exciting to watch that race and see Jr win then it was to see the Rockies continue to struggle. Can't believe they gave up a homerun in such little league fashion.... overthrow, run, overthrow, run... home run. Ugh!!!
Dang, the Heat pull ahead. C'mon Thunder!

We are playing a series in Detroit.
We need someone to get going and give this team a boost.

Why does every game seem like a struggle?

Because baseball is a lot like life...
sometimes you hit a home run...
and sometimes you strike out.

Very philosophical, Gary! Boy, our division had a rough time yesterday! The Rockies are the kings of rough times right now.
New this year to our town.... the rookie team of the Rockies are playing here now. They just started their season and then it goes through September. Unfortunately, they are 0-2. But should be fun to have a little baseball here in town. The opening home game is Saturday. Exciting stuff!

Valentine chocolates are easy to tire of - perhaps not true love. (Just ask

Darryl Kile passed away 10 years ago.
MLB Network is airing a special on him during the All Star Break. They showed some of it today, very emotional.
