He hacked a bit during the night but definitely not like the night before. He's not coughing up phlegm anymore - sorry TMI. I am crossing my fingers and being optimistic.
I am so glad he shows signs of clearing up quickly. That must be a big relief for you.

So I also have a couple NSV's:
Drove home with chocolate macaroons open and sitting on the front seat and didn't even THINK about having one!
Went through McDonalds drive thru (no judging!) because both kids were screaming by the time we were on our way home and I had to get them both fed and down for naps pronto...I ordered a kids meal for Hudson (with apples and milk) and when I got to the window they gave me 2 crispy chicken snack wraps instead of his happy meal. I started driving away and realized what had happened and went back through to get his happy meal and they told me I could keep the snack wraps and I said "NO THANK YOU" and handed them back to them!
YAY ME!

you did great!! I hope Hudson enjoys the macaroons.

It is very individual. It will depend on how active you are, if you eat foods you are allergic too, if you normal retain a lot of fluid, if you eat more carb based foods that your body can manage.
Some people only see slight gains back or it takes a month of the changed eating to see a change. Usually they are much more active physically so they are burning larger amounts of glycogen resources and the impacts are less noticeable.
