I don't really post on here, ever.... But I'm a lurker.
And I've decided I really need the support. I've been "on" the program since Dec 15 2010. I lost 50lbs from then till about July 2011. But fell off program when I got too comfortable with it. Allowing myself a cheat here and there. I maintained a 40lb loss in total thru the summer (only gaining back the 10lbs) I figured come the fall I would high tail my toosh into full gear again. But holidays rolled in, adding on another 10lb gain (making a 20lb gain and 30lb loss in total). I was so devastated that every week I would try to start and fall right back into temptation. It feels so much stronger this time, and my willpower seems so depleted.
I know I need to finish and get off the remainding 50lbs I want to lose. But when I look at that number seeing that only 6months ago it was 30lbs to goal I feel like a failure. But a bigger failure would be to give in completely and never get back on program at all. I know that.
But like I previously stated the willpower is gone. If you really look at it though I had enough willpower to continue checking in at my IP doctor every week, and to come here and ask for help from you guys.
So that is my start I guess. I've been getting the 3rd day headaches and detox problems we all see. Been trying to keep with the extra protein and keep it all in check.
So whatever words of wisdom anyone can give to say a good ole "thata girl, keep it up" I'll take it. Becuase we all can use a lil bit of cheerleader in our life to keep us with our heads held high.

You are beautiful in your wedding picture! Good for you getting a handle on the regain quick, you will be great by summer.
thank you so much. I knew since I was a child what dress I wanted to wear when I got married (the one audrey hepburn wore in sabrina) but there was NO way at over 200lbs and a size 18-20 I could have done it. so I found IP and made sure I would be able to have the dress made, and not look like a whale in it.
Good for all of us for getting back on the wagon! There seems to be a pattern. first time around seems MUCH easier for everyone. second round is MUCH tougher. Not sure why. thank you again.
[QUOTE=marie montreal;4168470]Congrats to shrinking Sandra, what you have lost is what I need to lose. Totally inspiring! Keep up the great work.[/QUOTE
a fellow Canadian! Merci. Je ne sais pas si je m'appellerais une inspiration, mais cela est très gentil. I plan on keeping it up, I just find it much harder this time around.

Honestly, Sandra, it isn't that way for everyone. Or maybe I was just more desperate to lose.
Well I'm on Day 5 and according to my scale I'm the same weight! I've been really sick the past month or so, not too sure what is going on - have to go to a specialist Feb 1st. May have lupus. But either way, it worked for a me a few months ago, why isn't it working now?!
I restarted today. My previous stint was July 2010 through mid September 2010 and had to stop for a surgery. During this time lost 30 # and was about 8 # short of my goal. I am up 12# since then and decided to get back in the saddle...I really liked the program and should be able to get the remainder off in a couple of months. I did not get to phase off like your normally would, so I am hoping that this will help me do a better job this time around. I love this website and always find it a great source of support!
I'm starting back on IP after being off protocol for about a year. In 2010, I lost 45 pounds, but gradually gained it all back last year. Totally my fault for not phasing off the program correctly. I will not make that mistake again.
I went to a different clinic this time; one where I can just drop in and buy the products and I don't have to meet with a coach. Can anyone tell me if the protocol changed since 2010? I seem to recall reading that the protein was increased from 5 to 7 to 8 oz. Anything else I should know about? Can someone direct me to an updated protocol sheet? I checked the FAQ but I only found posts from 2009.

In round two I am now where I left off back in October. I am at the 127 mark now. I am on a business trip this week and have wowed to stay strong. I am in Paris so it will be a challenge but this time I am committed to loosing the weight. I am 13 lbs away from phasing 2 keep going

Except for breakfasts, this could be a breeze. Real plate lunches instead of sandwiches and fries, etc. Bon chance!
