Round 2! Lost a total of 37#s. Took a break for the holidays because I have to drive 1.5 hours to get to my coach. Gained back 10#s. Restarting is a real challenge but I need to loose another 30# from where I am right now. Want to be done by Spring Break so I can have a vacation where I am not hiding from the camera. I want to stay motivated.

Unhappy Second time so much harder.

I was successful my first time doing IP and lost 45 lbs in about 4 months. I maintained for about six months. Then I had to take prednisone for about 8 months and have gained all of it back! I'm so disappointed and ashamed. But I'm trying it again. I have not been nearly as successful this time. It's been 2 1/2 weeks and I've only lost 3 - 4 lbs. So frustrating and I don't really know what's going on. For the most part I have been very good. Has anyone else had this experience?

It might have to do with the Prednisone, or the health reason for taking it in the first place. How's the rest of your health?? Thyroid? Menopausal?? Etc. Hang in there! Off slowly is better than not off at all.

Default IP Redux

I am back, lost 18 pounds in 2012 and then the holidays hit. I was able to keep off the weight for three years, but Se La Vie. This forum was helpful with many innovative IP recipes and look forward to be introduced to new methods of cooking the vegetables on the IP vegetable list.

I wish those starting IP again good fortune and much success in your goals.
