I hope you all had a good day yesterday. I did a 3 mile walk in the evening and I did very good with my eating yesterday. I'm going for another OP day and I hope you all have a great one too.
lifeisbeautiful ~ Your plan sounds like it will definitely work! What kind of field work are you doing that has you hiking around so much? And I know what you mean about not eating what the family eats, although here it isn't cultural so much as personal (for my mother at least). If she cooks and I don't eat it she gets really upset and feels very hurt. Luckily I'm married and live in my own house, but I still eat at her house at least once a week. :-(
omgzitsmiranda ~ I love your attitude! You'll hit your goal sooner rather than later I bet.
GettinFit ~ Way to go on the 3 mile walk on having an OP day!
Well ladies, we're getting there! I'm in for weekly weigh ins if you are! I do weigh daily, so any day is fine for me. I've been having great OP kinds of days lately, and am almost healed enough from my gallbladder surgery to do some light exercise (no ab work for me for a while tho). I go see the surgeon sometime in the next week to get my stitches out and then I should be cleared to workout again!
P.S. I'm down to 208.4 today, less than 10lbs until I see a "1" in front of that number on the scale!
Latchkey - WTG making 208.4, you are soooo close and I'm sure you'll be seeing 190something very soon. Keep on doing what you're doing.
diyana - Whatever day you'd like to log your weight is fine. I'll probably do Fridays. Lately I've been weighing myself daily and tracking it on a spreadsheet because I'm curious to see the pattern of how my body let's go of the weight during the month. If I start to obsess over it though I will go back to weekly weigh ins only.
So far today has been very good for me and I hope everyone else is having a great day.
glad everyone is having a good day and getting this challenge off to a great start!
I track my weight weekly on Sundays, so I'll update then, although I do weigh a little more often if I feel like it, so when I get closer to Onederland, I may turn into a daily weigher! lol!
Mizzthing & April I hope we all are able to make this goal. Right now I am so pumped and I just want to keep this momentum going. I'm looking forward to giving and receiving encouragement to push on pass 200 to the 190s

Miranda - It's hard to say how much you'll lose by the end of the year. I'd just give it my all and wherever you end up on 12/31, I'm sure it will be great. I tend to be a slow loser so it may take me the rest of the year to lose25 pounds I'll be happy with that though.
I had a good day; stayed within my WW Points and did a Firm workout. I'm starting back with my weights & sculpting.
Miranda~ If you weigh 265 right now, and you steadily lose 2lbs per week, you should be out of the 200's by March of 2012. If you up that to 3.5lbs per week you'll be out of the 200's by January. :-) Either way, you'll be out of the 200's and into ondederland!
Well the scale read 208.8 today, so I think my woosh is over. Still, I'll take it! The only bummer is my stomach is still all bloated and kind of swollen from surgery, so I can't even fit my good/smaller pants right now, which is making me kind of sad! :-( I read that the bloating can take a few months to completely go away, looks like I'll have to pull out my old bigger pants for a while until I'm back to normal. That kind of stinks, I was hoping I had put them away for good.
I am also in. I just joined the group so probably cant get one of those weightlose thingys showing your progress but right now I am at 227.6 down from 235 about two and half weeks ago. I would love to be under 200lbs by the end of the year. I cant even begin to tell you how happy I would be to reach that milestone but as long as the scale is going down then I am happy happy happy (that is with my singing voice). So excited to be a part of this group. Yay US
Hey all. Doing pretty good today. I have been weighing daily and I like it. It keeps me accountable I guess. Also I get to check it against what I have eaten to see what may have happened. I know when TOM comes I may gain from bloating, but I'm prepared. Anyway, I am down another 2 pounds.
to the challenge 9jachic and congrats on your success so far.
Latchkey - Sorry that you are still bloated. Maybe by the time it goes away, your small pants will be too big and you'll need to go to even smaller ones. Hang in there.
Mizzthing - Congrats on losing another 2 pounds. At this rate, you'll be in onederland before you know it.
So far I've had a good day. I was down to 217.8 this morning so I'm slowly working my way down to 199.
