Hi and welcome. Stick around, as miracles happen here.

I agree with all that everyone has said, and just want to offer encouragement.

Yes, yes, yes - get rid of the garbage. Don't make this harder than need be by throwing needless temptation in your face. You want your home to be a safe haven. So get rid of the junk, but make CERTAIN to ADD in healthy, healthy, delicious foods. Set yourself up for success - I can't stress this enough.

You wouldn't go to a tennis match without sneakers and a racket. Weight loss/healthy eating is no different. ALWAYS have the right supplies on hand.

yep, for me adjusting to a new food regime is a bigger challenge in the beginning, then I get more used to it, and tinker around and find stuff I like. it does help me to keep temptation out of the apartment entirely (like potato chips and ice cream).

I've done weight watchers and jenny craig, and basically used their eating programs on my own.

Got rid of all the junk! Feeling nervous about my sugar craves! But I have gotten some really good advise on how to beat it!

You have the same stats as me well when I started in Jan 18th 2010

You can do it! Just make your mind up that its going to happen and make it happen.

I got some walk DVD's at walmart and thats what I use. I have gone from a size 24 to a 16/18

Good luck!
