Yay for all our B-losers!!! Still sick, doing what the TOM gals would like to do, sleeping, doing nothing, but not hungry at all. I'm down another 2 pounds, kinda worried about when the sickness is over . . . will I do a big relapse?

Welcome back scherif (sp?) Glad you had that talk with yourself, and got a little me time too - just the ticket. Glad you're here.

Its getting harder to breathe at times, and I can't sleep with my mouth open, but for some reason I sleep fine on the couch . . .so . . .here I go . . . Take care girls, love you.

Congrats to the blue team on another triumph! I never thought I'd be so glad to be part of a "losing" team!

My neck is feeling good today. I had to stop taking ibuprofen as my stomach started hurting. I'm going to try and bounce on my rebounder for a bit, if it doesn't hurt, of course.

I had the most wicked craving for chicken nuggets today. I picked up some of those Morningstar Chik'n Nuggets instead and had those for dinner. Really yum!

Do any of you ladies drink Slim Fast? I am having trouble eating all my calories on my high calorie zig zag days (never thought "having trouble eating all my calories" would come out of my mouth). The shakes are 190 calories, and I like that they contain some calcium, vitamins, and minerals too. Do you have a favorite flavor? I looked at the Carnation Instant Breakfast mixes too, but I'd rather not have to mix something up since I'd be at work and there is really no room for me to keep milk around to reconstitute a shake.

Hope everyone is having a good day!

Good going Chica! Sorry that I missed talking with you today, but I have been soooooooo busy lately. So I notice that you put orange squash in your psyllium. What the heck is that? Sounds delish

Congrats on doing your second workout, so hard to do.I love doing one workout, but a second one would require a tow to the club for me lol.I did workout today like a mad woman, I wanted a weightloss at my club tonight and well 2 and 1/2 pounds lost My weighin should have been today here, I think I peed out a gallon of water today.

Anyways, glad that you are back on track, I am definitely back on. I have now lost almost 4 pounds the last 3 weeks at the club, and I am definitely gaining muscle as well as I am losing inches from my workouts.

I will be around Tuesday, I hope you will be chica

Today went down the ****ter. I was tired.....crampy....and angry about something really stupid so I ate a lot of chips. Not one or two....alot. I kicked myself in the butt afterwards, but what's done is done. Had a good dinner, and will skip my snack tonight.

Starting tommorow I'm going to eliminate all refined sugars. I find I'm craving more and more sugar...and I want to stop the cravings.

@babygrant - Tomorrow will be better! Kudos for turning it around and having a good dinner and skipping your snack! A lot of people would have given up for the day, and you didn't, so be proud!

WOW!!!!!! 2 and half pounds is freaking AWESOME!! way to go!! and 4lbs in 3 weeks, is excellent. way to go!! you are kicking it !

funnily enough its the first workout that i REALLY struggle with , once i get that done then the 2nd one isnt too bad as its just riding a bike whilst watching a dvd. first one is the intense one.

i was flicking through jilliam michaels 30day shred book and decided to do wind sprints today, to shake things up abit. i havent done any running or sprinting for a long time, so that will be good for my body.

glad to hear your back on track too

fresh start today!!! don't worry we've all done it! chips are my kryptonite.
and like Ars said, good for you for doing damage control!

Ars- cool i have a rebounder too! aint it great!! i use it for all my plyometrics training and jumping jacks, to protect my knees etc.

wow i wish i had your problem of not being able to eat enough calories!
if you're finding it hard to hit your calories, why dont you opt for things like cheese, full fat milk?
what are your calorie zig zags? how many calories do you have to eat on high calories.

Hi everyone. Sorry to MIA. I had a fun busy last few days with friends and family. I thought very very hard about if I should drop out of the challenge or not. I LOVE the support and giving support. However the regular weighing is just stressing me out WAY to much. I feel very positive about what I'm doing etc until I get on that scale. I really think I need to weigh monthly or even LESS.

I don't see how I can really quite participate in the biggest loser challenge when I decided I am staying off the scale. UGH!!!!!!!!! I swore I wouldn't quit but that scale is too negative for me and I won't weigh in weekly anymore and let that number have any control over how I think I am progressing. Hope some of that made sense.

I wont add myself to the last chance or nutritional journals until I find out if i'm allowed to follow along without weekly weigh ins.

Do you have a hubby or friend who would log into 3 fat chicks for you and edit your weight and then us team members will just promise not to mention your weight on the chat, and you'd have to promise yourself not to peek at the weigh in thread? I'm thinking really really really hard this morning because I don't want you to quit.

Mercy, this is what wikipedia says

Quote:
Squash (also commonly known as cordial in Australia) is a sweetened or unsweetened fruit-based concentrate which is mixed with a liquid, most commonly water or seltzer, before drinking.[1][2] It is also the name of the resulting drink.

Squash and cordial are common in the United Kingdom, Pakistan, Ireland, India, Scandinavia, South Africa, Kenya, Australia, Israel, New Zealand and Hong Kong, and have a large market share in competition with fruit juices and soft drinks. Typically, squash is created by mixing one part concentrate with four or five parts water (depending on concentration and personal taste) directly into a glass or jug.

Manufacturers of squash include Britvic under the Robinsons, Indian manufacturer Hamdard under the name of Rooh Afza and MiWadi brands, Nichols (under the Vimto brand), GlaxoSmithKline (under the Ribena brand) and Coca-Cola (under the Kia-Ora brand). Australian brands include Cottees, Bickford's, P&N Beverages and Golden Circle cordials. Indian brands include Kissan and Rasna. In Israel, fruit squashes are produced by such companies as Assis and Primor.
LOL, I was thinking of a winter squash or something with orange flesh and I though.....DARN that sounds disgusting!!!!! Buf if it is what the wikipedia article states, then I understand.

Thanks for the info babygrant, I might check out the coke brand, I think I have seen it here in Florida. I like the idea of "bit" in my drink.

Hmm never seen anything like that in Canada.

The psyllium husks make things thick right? I wonder how much to add?

Nope don't think dh would do that because he thinks the worst thing I ever did was buy a scale. Thank you so much for brain storming though I'm going to ask in the ?'s thread if I can still participate in the chat.

Yep, it's also called Metamucil by it's branded name. If you let it sit for a minute, it thickens to a point where you have to add more water to get it down. They put a scoop in the product so 1 scoop per 1 glass of water.I use the orange flavor, so adding the bits would make it like OJ.
