Thinnerbyjuly, I don't know if this would be a "legal" strategy but couldn't you just put the same weight in each week and then when you do weigh in for real put that number in for the week you do weigh in? So it would look like this:

February 14: 187
February 21: 187
February 28: 187
March: 6: 184

Just a thought.

Slushy, wet and mild today. Not great for walking but walk I did.

Babygrant: I have psyllium husk that I bought at the Superstore health section. It has 1 calorie per teaspoon and 2 g of fiber.

Have a good on plan day, blue ladies.

Yes, it's 45 cal per serving 5 grams of fiber. Different than retires post so I suppose it depends on what brand you buy. I like it because it keeps things moving lol and high in fiber for relatively low cals. It fills me up for a long time, like oatmeal does.

I am using it twice a day now for the last 3 weeks, and I don't know if it is a coincidence or not, but the weight has been coming off since then.

ohh lol sorry haha

orange squash is Concentrated high juice orange drink. which you then dilute with water. over here we get it with like 50% fruit juice.

This 50% real fruit squash is free from artificial colours and sweeteners. Contains both whole orange fruit and orange juice from concentrate.
i add it to my fibre, which makes it taste better.

lol thanks for answering the question Mercy had! hahaha thats so funny, about the misunderstanding lol!!

yah thats right they do. i personally put 2 teaspoons of it in half litre of water and then add my orange squash to make it taste nice. leave it for 10 minutes, give it another stir so it all mixes up, and then drink it slowly through a straw whilst i'm watching telly or something. and then if you like you can drink a small cup of just plain water afterwards, but because its so diluted i dont feel the need to.

thinner i totally understand your dilema. i'm sure you can still stick around for support and log in your nutrition and exercise, Angela has said that in the past to other members, but your weekly weight loss wont contribute to the teams overall loss if you dont log in your weekly weights, but you can still use the support .

Thanks Echo Tesco is definitely a UK brand and we have a grocery store here that specializes in UK products due to the proximity of Disney. It's convenient for me as I happen to work in the cash office there

The psyllium husk is just the husk and looks like a very light, very fine wheat germ. You sprinkle it in juice, cereal, yogurt, etc. It is a different from Metamucil as it is has no other ingredients. You have to increase your water intake when you use it in anything like cereal.

However the regular weighing is just stressing me out WAY to much. I feel very positive about what I'm doing etc until I get on that scale. I really think I need to weigh monthly or even LESS.

I don't see how I can really quite participate in the biggest loser challenge when I decided I am staying off the scale. UGH!!!!!!!!! I swore I wouldn't quit but that scale is too negative for me and I won't weigh in weekly anymore and let that number have any control over how I think I am progressing. Hope some of that made sense.

I wont add myself to the last chance or nutritional journals until I find out if i'm allowed to follow along without weekly weigh ins.
I would be sorry to see you go, but you know what's best for you.Your support has been greatly appreciated.

As a side note, I have read that Angela has encouraged others who have dropped out that they can still participate in the chats and workouts, so you can be still be part of the team.

Our real reason here if for support, not who wins the challenge, so stay with us.

WOW you have been a busy group of people. My last post yesterday was that I would catch up on personals and be right back. As you can see I was not right back and now I will have to add to the comments I wrote. So they may sound kind of strange but that is just like my personality so it's okay

Hi Blue Team,

Echo - How did you come up with eating 1600 calories and burning 1000 and how do you ever do 4100 + calories of exercise. How long does that take you each day. You must be so dedicated, even if you say your not motivated wow that's dedication. How is your studying going for you drivers test? What do you eat for breakfast and lunch to go through
your calories before supper time? How can you manage to only have a fibre shake for supper. I would be going to bed hungry From your new post and picture that orange squash looks good and so many other flavors too.

retiredone - glad you could get out for your walk. It's nice to see the sunshine isn't it.

Soon2BeFitChick - WTG on you 2.5lbs down and being over 80 down altogether. It's good to have healthy snacks at events that way you can munch all you want and not feel bad. What are you following as a program as I think we started this challage almost the same and here I sit still the same.

Cape Breton Chick - Hope you feeling better. Did you talk to bf yet I bet he had a great time at the game especially since his team won. That is so awesome that he has friends like that to take him to the game and watch out for all his needs too.

ars- my iron was low this time to they had to do a 2nd test to see if I could donate, but I passed that one. How is you neck feeling now? Answered later in the day. I'm glad your neck is better, have fun on the rebounder. I have been debating getting one but not sure what to do with it besides jump up and down. Is it good at burning calories? I have done slimfast years ago and it's not bad. I was to cheap to buy the pre made cans so I did the powder. Carnation instant is yummy. What about the ensure it will add to your calorie count and give you many good nutrients.

dayoneagain - it's amazing how the calories add up if were not dilagent isn't it. I'm glad the counting is working for you. It's good to keep planning ahead.

thinnerbyjuly - well it happens sometimes that you have to be off plan I hope you get back in the swing of things easily. I tend to take a long time to come back. Good luck!! Oh new post, I was thinking the same way as retiredone if its legal could you just post the same weight as your last one (mine has been the same for weeks and I am weighing in) but then post once a month your actual weight. (you could be the biggest loser 1x a month with the drop in pounds)

Nixmom - I hope your dog is feeling less confused now....LOL I myself would be confused getting up that early and jumping around. How is the no smoking going for you, has it been hard to stick with that and doing bootcamp. That is 2 major events. I have not been good about
getting my butt downstairs the last few days. I think I need a kickstart somehow.

shoupfamily - any results yet (did TOM come)

mageorge - jewelery bingo sounds fun I hope the school made lots of money. WTG on only having a piece of cake that you made and could count.

doragone - I hope you feel better soon. WTG on the 2lbs gone Oh and another 2lbs down that's awesome Tha't about the only thing good about being sick. Keep sleeping on the couch if it at least helps you to rest. Feel better soon

Mercy03 - Good for you for being back on track with the exercising....can you give me a shove. WOW another 2.5 down I think I need to get myself to the gym I too need to build up some muscle. I got a lifetime membership years and years ago and the gym has never been in a place I lived. Now it's in the same city but on the other side so it takes 45min to get there. I need to suck it up and go (not a winter driver) but I should a least go on the good road days. Your results along with everyone elses that go are awesome.

shcirerf - Glad to see you are staying with us.

Idealmuse - WOW being your lowest in 20 years you must be feeling so good right now.
Congratulations.

dream710 - down 3.5lbs that's awesome it is a very nice feeling fitting into your summer
clothes I bet. I have been to scared to try mine on. Even though I weigh less than last
summer I don't think my waist size has changed. Good for you.

Institches - I hope you can adapt soon to the changes going on around you and that you can
resist falling back into the old habits.

babygrant - don't worry about the chips sometimes you just need to give in. You made adjustments to your dinner and now just drink a whole bunch of water and you'll be fine. I feel for you with the sugar cravings they can be a huge downfall. Stupid food that tastes so good but is soooo bad for us.

Well not much new with me just pluggin away and hope I start to see some results again. Slow but steady would even be nice right about now instead of just steady.LOL

I hope you all have a fantastic day.

THank you so much for giving support with my weighing problem. I really appreciate your comments!

Yeah!!!!!!!! I asked in the ?'s thread and Montecristo said I can still participate and even weigh but as an unofficial member. AWESOME I DON"T HAVE TO DROP OUT and can stay with you awesome people!!!!! I joined for the support and I sure am glad I can stay. I just need to concentrate on the getting stronger, fitter, and keeping my diabetes more on track than on that scale. Besides it ticks me off. It has been at a standstill practically for 3 weeks but I can pull my jeans off fully buttoned and zipped.

LOL must be my time for emotional dilemmas. Besides the scale I have been going back and forth for over a week trying to decide if we are buying a new car. Gee, I'm cautious which makes me indecisive

I am SORRY thought that I won't be helping my team by any loss counting. Hope there are no hard feelings.

I've been meaning to pick up a fiber supplement myself. I does the sugar free metamucil taste decent??? I tried plain psyllium in water and could not get it down. I gave it to Mom. I'm rather intersted in MERCY saying it fills her up also.

Dh is in full ice-fishing mode and I am not much on fish if I have to cook it!!!!!. I'm going to try eating fish at least 3 x a week and see how that goes. Speaking of fish I think salmon is yucky but we have tons in the freezer dh caught during salmon season. Does anyone have any great ways to cook it ? Maybe with a good recipe I could eat it. I know it is really healthy.

No hard feelings here. I would be a bit ticked had you said something like "This is too hard, I've had enough, I'm going back to my old eating ways and I'm quitting. No more eating well and no more exercising". I would've been disappointed. But your NOT quitting. Your going to keep plugging away with all of us and your going to do wonderful!

I could just hug you!!!!

Nope not quiting at all. Too be honest sometimes i wish I could but as a long term diabetic it is just not an option ever~ even if I never lose a pound. I flat out refuse to spend this summer uncomfortable in shorts. I just need to concentrate on the health aspect more that the scale number. If i'm doing healthy things I will continue to succeed!

I debated for days posting i didn't want to weigh because I didn't want to quit the challenge.

Bigmid keep plugging away. Your doing awesome!!!! Maybe your buildign muscles ") All back on plan as of yesterday but decided it was crazy to let the scale annoy me so much.

Bigmid, you are good at personals.

thinnerbyjuly, I am glad you can stay, and I understand (and applaud) what you are doing.

babygrant, I just don't pay attention, every month it's just like I get sideswiped by the most horrid PMS, except I don't realize it's PMS and I think everyone hates me, etc. You'd think after riding the pony for 23 years I'd have figured it's on its way by now.
