Warning: Don't visit Disneyworld when on this diet!
So I had to go to Orlando for a national English teacher conference this weekend for work... and unless you make reservations 48 hours in advance (so busy during the convention weekend) at the "fancy" restaurants here, the only things to eat are sandwiches, hamburgers, and lots of fried crap or veggies drenched in oil. And lots of carbs, candy, and desserts. And it's all pretty darn expensive!
I brought my butter spray, melba toast, supplements, and bars. I'm making the best choices I can, downing lots of extra water (everything is so salty, too!) and walking LOTS. But I'm freaking out because I desperately want to sign the 30lb board next week.
Between food, the initial stress of learning they jacked up our reservations, annoying Disney music everywhere, and having had to present to a large group of colleagues this morning, I am NOT enjoying Disneyworld. Oh--AND Frontier airlines serves fresh-baked cookies during their flights. TWICE I had to turn down--and then smell for the rest of the trip--the warm, yummy cookies. I texted my sister to tell her about that, and she said it sounded like "the movie
Saw for fat chicks or something."
I hope everyone else's weekend is starting off better than mine. I see a few of you have finally seen some movement on the scale-- yay!
Thanks for letting me vent.
