Checking in. Nothing much going on. I did finally clear all those crazy comments from my blog and changed the settings. That makes me feel better.

Carol enjoy time with the family. Thanks for all the encouragement. Shay, glad you solved your blog problem, I never quite understood blogging, so never had one, maybe that's a good thing. Have a blessed day all.

I don't think the altitude is bothering me as much as it has in the past. I do feel more tired, though. Walked down town for a little while with my dd and my dils. They had coffee and I had ice tea. Tasted so good because I am so thirsty here. Bad thing is I am going to the bathroom all the time, too!

That sounds fun .

I was allowing people to comment without being logged in or a member so I ended up with alot of spam. Changing settings and deleting all the crazy comments solved the problem.

Glad you figured that out Shay. Snowing here in CO. I don't like driving in this kind of weather. Only going part way home tonight, Lord willing.

I received an add from Prevention today for a free issue with 12 free reports and one is on a diet that sounds like IE. I think I'll send the card back. Just curious. And you can cancel and owe nothing.

From Prevention.

A landmark study at Georgia State University found that people who took in a lot fewer calories than they burned were actually fatter than people whose calories were more balanced. In fact, the study found that the most weight loss occurred when the difference between calories consumed and calories burned was in the narrow range between 300 and 500 calories. But here's the real amazing part. The study found that, at any given time, it doesn't matter if you eat fewer calories than you burn or if you eat more calories than you burn. It only matters that the difference is within this 300 to 500 calorie range.

That's right. As incredible as it sounds, the study found that keeping your calorie input and output in balance was even more important than whether or not you took in excess calories.

How can this possibly be? The answer has to do with how the human metabolism works. You see, throughout history, we humans have experience feast or famine. As a result, our bodies are designed to burn fat in times of plenty and store fat in times of famine.

Cont.

When you go on a diet your body thinks "famine".It stores all the fat it can. And the more time you spend eating tiny portions or killing yourself at the gym,the more your body thinks it's starving.

So if you've tried dieting and failed or if you've lost and gained the same weight over and over again, now you know why. It's not your fault, it's the way your body was designed.......
This plan is different than anything you've ever tried because:

It retrains your body to burn fat faster and more efficiently.....

It regulates your calories automatically. Yes you'll have to keep your calories in balance. But no, you wont' have to spend your time actually counting calories. Why? Because with this innovative plan your body will tell you when you've had enough calories. You'll simply stop eating when you're satisfied. No counting necessary. ....

Believe it or not , it's okay to eat a cheat food occasionally Why? Because by making a smart portion choice , you can justify your pleasure without guilt and it's better to enjoy the real thing than to substitute a diet treat which may be fat free with twice the calories.....

I am typing this by hand so omitted some of it.
