Natalia ~ We all need days off and as long as we don't go crazy or do it to often we should be fine. Sounds like there was lots of temptations.
Tinky ~ It is very confusing so I played with my calories until I found out what worked for me. This week it has been a real slow loss but my calories are higher than normal and I am alright with that. I just want to make sure I either lose or maintain over the weekend. Last weekend was the first time in a long time that I didn't actually gain. Shew.
Zenor ~ How are you feeling today? I sure hope you are feeling better.
Calories Wednesday: 1586
Higher than normal but I was really active last night and hungry when I sat down to watch TV so I had a 90 calorie drizzle pack and a cup of air popped popcorn.
I couldn't resist last night I made another one of those yummy salads. I don't know why but I just can't get enough of it. I could easily become a vegitarian at this point with the Morningstar and Boca products. They are pricey to me but they are so good and I figure good for you, well at least I hope.
I took my pony out for a short drive last night, he was such a good boy for me, well what I consider a good boy. Yes, he kept trying to turn around but he listened when I said no and he went the speed I wanted him to go. DD took him out when I was done and he wouldn't listen to her at all. For some reason he doesn't like my DD and even gave her hassles about putting the harness on, I normally do it alone. She probably won't take him out again for a while. She said she couldn't slow him down. He is definitely my boy.
Has anyone tried to use the Boca "ground beef"? I was thinking about trying to make chili with it. Like I said, I could easily become vegetarian with this stuff. Someone said they used it to make tacos but I don't remember who. Maybe this weekend I can try making it.
I started doing strength training again this week. I was dedicated to doing for over a year and then, not a clue why, all of a sudden I lost the will to do it. I am getting it back to do it again. I know what happened is I was trying to do the full body two days a week instead of breaking it up into areas 6 days a week. What I mean is one day I do upper body, then mid section and then legs. That way it only takes about 15 minutes a day instead of about 40 to 50 minutes straight two days a week. So, I am back to doing the short segments 15 minutes a day. So doable for me.

Tags only set me back $5, that wasn't as bad as the keys. So I went for a drive and didn't get any speeding tickets, which is a good thing. That car is a cop magnet, I have to watch the speedometer like a hawk. (But it's so much fun!)
I can't wait to get in the healthy BMI zone. Don't beat yourself up over your 'naughty' food day. Thats' why I love calorie counting, it's okay to occasionally have a day like that. I guess we have to be accountable for how much we eat, and quit letting food be our enemy. That's what I am learning here. Especially since I have a 9 yo who is counting cals with me. He still has a sweet treat everyday, he's learning to make healthier choices and to eat a serving, not 3 at a time.
is the kind fo week we have had. We just take it all in stride as best we can.
