So I wake up to see we lost the game and maybe our closer, Saito, to an elbow problem...I thought it was bad when he walked off after 2 outs...arm limp at side...dang!

Hope your games go well today gals!

Razz, you continue to be nice in your comments. I appreciate it. Your Mets are beating up on my Rox. Maybe today....
At least the Giants keep losing, too. We're still a half game behind them.

Being a Mets fan is generally a very humbling/depressing experience, so I know not to talk trash during the rare times things are going well lol

And I wouldn't say the Mets have really been beating up the Rockies. Both games have been close, the Mets pitching has just been red hot right now. Hopefully for me they can keep it up.

Unfortunately those damn Snakes couldn't help the Mets out, so the Phils won, and secured themselves of going into the break in 1st place. After this crazy start to the season, it would have been nice to see the Mets sneak into the break in 1st, but hopefully they can win tonight and stay 0.5 gms out.

What a great day

A good win against the Pirates 11-6.

Aaron miles you've got to love him. 5 RBI's, a home run and a triple.

A good win after last night's loss.

Not sad at all about those snakes losing here RAZZ!

My DODGERS finally had an easy one...going to the break 1 game out....feeling decent about that.

WE really need to win the division...no wild card for us....thanks to the your CARDINALS your Mets and a few others right now.

Enjoy the game tonight GALLS....

Enjoy the break too! It's been a frustrating year for most of us but we all are in the hunt...assuming those Rockies will win another 17 in a row!

Good luck LADIES! And thanks for keeping this thread going!

Another Win!! Thats 9 wins in a row, and 4 shutouts in the last 6 gms! Is this really the Mets I am watching? Hopefully the break doesn't kill the good mojo.

And thanks to the Dodgers today, the Mets are finally able to jump in front of those Stinky Fish

Razz, really impressive winning streak, I have to say.
Gary, do you think the Rockies can win 17 in a row? I think they can! I think they can! I think they can!

Maybe next year.

So, what about the All Star game. Can the NL win one?
