Had another good jog this morning. Jogged 2.5k and walked 1k so that makes 3.5 if I still have the energy to do simple math. I have decided that doing 5k walking and jogging is more important than trying to do it all jogging. But I would love to jog the whole 5k as I was doing two years ago. I am doing this very slowly. When I started at 10 am there was ice on the puddles and by the time I finished at 10:40 the sun had come out and the ice was melted.
Yesterday I got a couple of comments from the neighbours about my jogging. My next door neighbour was having a coffee in her living room and saw me go by but wasn't sure of who it was as I had a toque on and she didn't recognize me. And my neigbour across the street from me had the same experience. When I got too hot I pulled it off and suddenly they knew who the demented jogger was.
My inner and outer thighs are burning today from yesterday and they feel worse now so I may have to just walk tomorrow. Time will tell.
I don't normally keep chips in the house because they are definitely my trigger food (if you can even call them food). I describe them as my crack cocaine and I'd snort them if I couldn't chew.

I bought them for my mom who lives with us. Last week she wanted some chocolate or candy and I told her there were no more chocolates, bars or chips coming in the house and she told me I wasn't running a very good house. Sooooo...I bought her some bars and a bag of chips last Thursday. The bars don't bother me at all. (I've had a Lindt dark chocolate bar on my dresser since Christmas that I'm saving for a special occasion.) But the chips were screaming out my name and by Sunday I capitulated to their charming lure.
