So I know eventually I'm going to make my ultimate weightloss goal, which is 125, but I hadn't really thought of a goal for July 4th. However, I'm sure if I had I would not be making it! Actually I am not going to weigh myself until July 6th because I gained 6 lbs last week (I'm thinking it either has to be due to water weight or because I upped my calories by 200/day and my body was adjusting??) In any case seeing that on the scale really through me for a loop and I need to recover from that shock, and I'm hoping my weight will readjust. I would LOVE to see 137 on July 6th, but that's probably a reach, I'm not sure if I'll actually make it out of the 140's. I always seem to think weight loss will happen faster than it actually does :\ Are you all on track for you July 4th goal???

km25, 6 lbs in a week sounds like some kind of temp water weight to me. Not only does it take time to get a pound of fat off, but it also takes time to put one on. Could be a high sodium meal or day, a hard workout, pre-TOM bloat, or adjusting to the higher cals. You adjusted your cals for a reason, I assume because they were too low, so focus on the long term results you want.

Morning, everybody else! Just drinking the tea and trying to wake up, so I thought I'd cruise the thread and see how it's going. Hope everyone has a great weekend. I'm off to the gym in an hour. Feeling pretty beat up today, so not sure if I'll do the usual torture workout at my gym, or just save my energy for the running clinic. Have to skate tonight, so don't want to be totally dead. If I hadn't already promised to be there, I'd just stay home and sleep another 6 hours.

The scale finally started moving again....and at least this challenge, it moved a week before the end of it and not the last day of it like the last challenge. I am currently at 192.6. I still may not reach my July 4th goal of 189...but I'm going to hopefully be as close to it as possible!!!

Now that I'm on summer break, it is so much easier to get to the gym I find. I usually wake up and go straight there. That way, it's done and over with before my day has even really started! haha

Hey peeps.

Took this morning off from the crossfit workout. I am still feeling pretty beat up from Saturday's workout fest. I did the team workout at my gym, then the running clinic was a lot more "workout" than I expected, then 3.5 hrs of dance skate practice Saturday night. Pretty much everything from my lower back on down is tight and sore, and my shoulders are still unhappy. It was just a brutal week of workouts at the gym, and I needed a little more recovery time before getting back to it. If I'm feeling up to it, I might go in tonight to catch the evening workout. That will make it so it's almost 2 full rest days.

Since I was home this morning, I've just been catching up on chores. Watered the garden, gave all the critters fresh water, tidied up the front yard, cleaned up the kitchen, did a few loads of dog laundry, did some filing. I've got to make a run to Costco for groceries and to gas up the van, then I think a shower, and maybe hit the gym tonight. Sounds like a plan, anyway!

geesh Jam~And I complain about laundry day~You are superwoman!
Look at your list~plan! wow
You rock girl!

Well I finally did it.
I made my last goal for this challenge I am at 193.2 a little under even~YIPPIE!

I nearly freaked out today at the store There was one of those tall full length mirrors (the kind you place on bathroom doors) and I saw myself in it and I looked skinny (sort of)
I For some reason think I am still really big in my mind half the time.
When I look at my pictures I am thrilled but then its like my mind goes back to thinking I am really heavy still~It's weird.
Anyone else go through that?
it's kinda like it takes the mind awhile to catch up with the reality or something.
I think thats the reason it took me extra long to actually get rid of my clothes that was too big...I am just use to being big.
Whew~I am wearing out my brain~Long day~Gotta get the kids to the library!
So I will type again soon.
~David glad to hear your staying on plan pretty good.
~& jam ~hope you recover soon!

Hey peeps!

Lori, I do laundry every day, otherwise it would be an all-day job, and I would hate it, too.

Today was a fun day at the gym. Our workout was just to Row 2K, so we had lots of time to play. I worked on my handstands today. Could not quite kick up to the wall, but I definitely am making progress and it's getting a little less scary. I got tired and had to stop before I kicked all the way up, but I'm getting closer! Also worked at the kipping pull-up. Again, close, but no cigar. Had to stop before my hands ripped open. Last thing we did was practice single leg squats (squatting to a tall box). That was challenging, for sure! My shoulder felt pretty good today, for the pull-up practice...finally!

Wink

Hey everyone!

Sorry I haven't updated in a while

It's been kinda a lazy week... I think I did okay on Sunday. Worked out for about 90 minutes. I only worked out for an hour each on Monday and Tuesday. Today's more of a strength training day, I guess. I had planned to do some cardio this morning, but woke up late. My mom and I babysit all day, so there's no time to sneak any in, except for maybe a walk or something. A short one. I mean NO time!

My weight has gone up and then back down. It went from 139.5 lbs. to 140.5 lbs. and now it's down to 138.5 lbs. My goal for this challenge was 141, so that's fine with me! As long as it doesn't continue to go up!

Hi Everyone!
I'm back from a fabulous time in FL. I had 3 wonderful days with college girlfriends and 2 days with family. Food was a little too much, drinking was kept to a minimum since I've started having an allergic reaction to hard liquor - major flushing, itching, burning on my face/neck/chest, I exercise everyday except for one. Having said all of that the scale is UP 7 pounds from this time last week. I know I didn't really gain 7 pounds so hopefully it will drop back off quickly. I'm back on track today, logging calories and already had a session w/ my trainer. I'm taking the boys to the pool tonight after work. I don't get much swimming when I take them, but at least we are out enjoying the sun.

Jammy - HAPPY belated 40th BIRTHDAY!!!!

For now I'll just say HELLO to everyone else! I have to catch up on work! Will stop back later....
