I'm start it on Sunday! Going to spend the next couple of days reading through everything and planning my days out. I run 3 days a week with the dog and I want to keep that in but I hope I don't feel like I'm always working out. Though I think the results may be worth it!
Does everyone on here do the nutrition part as well? I would but I'm a vegetarian and it's not very conducive to that. But that's okay. I'm going to do cal counting on daily plate and try to stay below 1400-ish for the day.
An any ideas on how to do the measurements without a tape measurer? I have no idea where to get one in this country!

so I just finished day two which wa cardio x for me. I was able to get it in during my son's morning nap! I'm not gonna lie I was a little dissapointed with the cardio dvd. don't get my wrong I was sweaty afterwards but I still feel like I should go to the gym and do more.

Does anyone else feel like tony just likes to see fat pple roll around during the superman/banana?

Glitterhairdye- Welcome! just an idea you could just use a string and rap in around and mark it with differen colors. like a green mark for arms. a blue mark for waist and so on. then at 30-60-90 days see how much smaller you got from those makrs.

My favorite programs are Plyo and Yoga. Love those. Yoga does awesome things for my back pain- it makes it go away.

I don't follow the nutrition plan. I use one my doctor advises me to use.

I so agree that the superman/banana part is ridiculus but hey at least we are in the privacy of our onw homes...
Glitterhairdye: I stay under or at 1500 cals... It worked for me the first 30 days....

I'm definitely feeling it! I did shoulders/arms, abs, and zumba yesterday (I took BLCarter's advice and modified my strength days - half of the shoulders/arms, all of the abs, and another 30 minutes of cardio) wooooo! I was a little sad that my scale hasn't budged yet though... hoping to see a drop tomorrow.

Today is yoga day! I've never been huge on yoga since I never feel like I get a calorie burn from it, but I do like it for stretching and I definitely neeeeed some stretching! I've been doing extra stretching after each workout.

Loving the program so far!

Glitterhairdye - I don't plan on following the nutrition, I'm a calorie counter and that's always worked for me. I don't want to diet, I made a lifestyle change in my eating habits.

mary- yoga is the hardest thing for me! I feel like my tummy gets in the way and it takes sooooo much strength to do the poses. Way to work it out yesterday with doing zumba too!

activemommy - google p90x workout schedule and you can find out what workouts to do when. you can also find them for the light and the other one that i don't remember what it's called. It's pretty easy to find.
And that's a great idea about the string! Def gonna do that if I can't find a tape measurer by saturday.

Activemommywanted - Tell me about it! I only survived through 40 minutes of the power posing before I decided to do 20 more minutes of zumba. I felt like I was working hard strength wise to balance my body, and I was certainly sweating, but I wanted to get my heart pumping a little bit.

hey all,
I do have the workout routines for the lean progrm since that is what I decided to follow. but I'm wondering if I can skip right to doing the cardio with it 3 times a week or if I should wait till day 30 to start those. I'm def not doing ALL the reps I just feel the cardio part may be lacking. but then again I've only done core syn and cardio. day three tomorrow!

Activemommy: They only recommend cardio 3 times a week after the first 30 days then after 60 days you do cardio 4 times a week...

Way to go everybody!!! It's nice to see you all are keeping up with the program... My legs are really sore this morning after leges and back yesterday but that means it worked
Today is kempo... Then it's rest day and week 6 Sunday... Boys it goes fast.... can't wait to see the end results....
Have a good weekend ladies!

When did you start to see a drop on the scale? My muscles are still sore, despite me glugging water, so I assume that's why my body is clinging to 174.8-175 this week. It's still only week 1 for me. So how long did it take before you saw the scale start to move?

I have another question before I begin. This one is probably asked a lot... My main goal is to lose weight. I know to do that I need to gain muscle and I know p90x in itself won't make me a body builder but which would help me accomplish my goals better - lean or classic? What have y'all done and think works better?
