That sounds like a good plan Angela. I would skip everything tomorrow and try to nip this thing now instead of waiting until you feel worse. And a smoothie sounds good too!

I say skip church and go to the extended care place tomorrow. If you catch this early enough, it won't be so bad. Hopefully, that is!

Well, we went to the Chevy place with DH's friend and helped him pick out a new truck. He got an Avalanche and boy is it ever cool!! Then we went to eat Mexican food, again. Now we're back home waiting for the friend and another friend to get here, so we can go to the housewarming party and then out somewhere else after that. DS is gone, little DD is at work and big DD is upstairs doing homework, so all kids are accounted for.

Tomorrow we'll have to finish up with our errands, because we didn't get a baby gate or groceries or anything that we had planned.`

melissa, i've gotten so i don't order potatoes at cbrl and if i do, i don't have gravy. very seldom do curtis and i have biscuits or cornbread. we usually tell them not to bring it to the table. i'm lucky. he loves cbrl as much as i do. i have to tell you i'm still having a blast. today was the first time in years--and i mean years!--that i had popcorn at the movies! 10 yr old gdd and i went to see c & choc factory. we had a great time. i felt so free. it's hard to explain. i just counted those pts. they weren't bad. i just have to have a low pt dinner. i can do that.

billie, girl, you sound pumped. i haven't heard this much excitement in your posts in a long time. you're doing great with wp. i'm like you and don't want to offend anyone here. i started today incorporating more core items into what i'm eating. we had hot dogs for lunch but i didn't have the dog. our dogs were high pts. i just had core chili on a hot dog bun with some ff cheese, mustard and onions. i didn't feel one bit deprived.

viv! that's a fantastic loss! i'm soooooooo happy for you. can you see me here doing the happy dance? i'm boogying.

kathy, you are a hoot, dear friend. i love your sense of humor. i know you're enjoying your day. this am 10 yr old dd and i went to walmart shopping for her a new sweat suit. we came home for lunch then went to the movies. we have had a ball. she's home now. curtis and i are just chilling. we're both covered in smiles. it's been a good day. i have to tell you, though, i'm shaking like a leaf. i had a regular diet coke at the movies. i'm not used to caffeine. i drink cf diet cokes cuz of archery. i don't think i could hold my bow steady today if my life depended on it. thank goodness, it doesn't.

vickie, what a wonderful nsv!!!!! you rock, girl!! i am so happy for you. i'll bet you're still smiling over those new duds. i'm trying to use mostly core foods now that i've had my "splurge." i know i can't keep on eating a lot of junk foods and lose. i don't think i can, anyway. i'll be watching for what you figure out for wendie-core.

vicki, i'm doing great today. i get 24 pts. i know i'm going to make it. i have to admit i was scared. right now, my mind is made up to do wp the right way. i'm working hard but having fun. enjoy your weekend. you've had a rough week. what did you think of bb? i am pulling for maggie now.

angela, i'll bet dh enjoys his girlie house. is he turning any of your dd's into tomboys? i was always pretty much a tom boy. i hope your sore throat gets better quickly.

vickie, we buy oodles of fresh produce. i find myself starved for fresh fruit and veggies now. did you and angela eat after each other? that's weird your both coming down with identical sore throats, isn't it?

well, guess i need to go and make a low pt sandwich for dinner. have a superb evening everyone.

Sandra, you are a strong-willed woman. I LOVE cracker barrell's biscuits. I think I could just eat those with a coke and be more than satisfied. It sounds like you had such a wonderful day. I'll bet you are just the most fun grandma. Sorry you are shakey, maybe you should stick w/ caffeine free beverages!! I feel kind of bad about posting all of this wendie stuff on the core board. Should we start our own thread?

What do the rest of you think? I don't want to be annoying by posting wendie plan stuff on our core board. But I don't want to leave you all and go to the regular WW part of 3fc either. Does it bother anyone?

I'm off to gazelle, as DH doesn't feel well, so no walking. I don't like to go by myself at night.

I totally don't mind seeing your Wendie menus. In fact, it's kind of entertaining, and educational. It's nice seeing the WP in practice, in case we ever decide to do it, it'll be easier, you know what I mean?

I'm curious to see if Vickie can get together the Vickie Core Wendie Plan. There's a mouthful to say quickly!

Just 1/2 hour till I can get the kids in bed...but who's counting? Dh volunteered to go get me some goodies. I think I might have him get some skinny cow ice cream sandwiches. I am a nut for ice cream sandwiches, and these aren't too bad - 2 pts I think.

Ugh, I'm just thinking of that immediate care place tomorrow. I hate going to dr waiting rooms, especially when I have to be there for a long time. Just the thought of all those germs makes me uncomfortable. I swear, my kids get sick after I take them to the doctor! They have one of those stupid block tables in the waiting room that they never wash, I'm sure. Ugh! I never used to be a germophobe until I had kids. I think it's because I was never sick growing up, and I'm not a very sympathetic nurse. Anyway, I'm rambling now. I'm washing my hands a bunch now, and trying not to spread whatever it is I have.

Later, ladies!
Angela

Thanks Angela. Some skinny cow ice cream sandwiches sound like good comfort food. Have you ever had the Klondike ice cream bars? They are really good too. I think the 98% FF ones are only 2 points too.

I think that if we all put our heads together, we would be able to come up with ideas for creating a core wendie plan. It really wouldn't be that hard. Eat all core foods, and then distribute your wpas throughout the week. Something like this:

Day One: 0 wpas
Day Two: 5 wpas
Day Three: 1 wpas
Day Four: 15 wpas (SHD)
Day Five: 0 wpas
Day Six: 4 wpas
Day Seven: 2 wpas

That's only using 27 wpas, but that is the same point differential as the wendie plan outlines (To get those numbers I just used the chart at http://groups.msn.com/POINTingMyWayt...pgmarket=en-us ). Let's try that again, using all 35 points (come on!).

35 Total WPAs--
Day One: 2 wpas
Day Two: 5 wpas
Day Three: 2 wpas
Day Four: 18 wpas (SHD)
Day Five: 1 wpas
Day Six: 5 wpas
Day Seven: 2 wpas

This way you could eat normal core foods, but then just distribute the wpas as outlined above.

What do you all think about that? Would it work? It seems like a core wendie plan to me.

I think I'll start a new thread so we can chat about this. This is really interesting! I think it would be so helpful to be more strict with my wpas!

Now that sounds like a do-able plan! Okay ... maybe Monday morning I will try this with you all. Tomorrow is another errand day.

Melissa, I really think that might be the key. Not sure I can stick to 1WPA in a day but maybe I'm being a wimp and need to get over it. I've been thinking that this is the way to go too. I like how your brain is working since I definitely don't want to go away from Core.

Angela, hope you're feeling better. My throat and ear definitely get worse at night. Jim has had the runs and upset stomach all day. I just started feeding him Pepto. I'm trying to place a Catherines order for things I saw in the store that they didn't have my size. It isn't going to well.

Kathy, I'll run your errands if you clean my house?

Kathy, for now I am doing the regular "flex" wendie plan. But after I try it for a week, I would be very interested in trying a core version. Good luck getting your errands done tomorrow.

Vickie, I know, the 1 wpa is a little tough. I was just trying to outline the wpas by copying the point variation in the wendie plan. I hope you all know what I mean, it is very confusing to try to type out my thoughts. But I am like you...I really like core. It works for me. Maybe doing a flex wendie week periodically would get all of my cravings out, but I want to remain on core for the most part. I hope that you and Jim feel better! What a bummer!

Vickie, poor Jim! I hope it's better tomorrow. Good luck with your ordering -- recently I've found that when I need new clothes, all I have to do is whine to my coworker who has a whole closet full of 8s and 10s that she bought in the hopes of getting into them. Since that hasn't happened, she's been slowly giving them to me. I have no shame!

Judd and his friend (new Avalanche owner) have gone bowling. I opted to stay home and watch TLC and play computer games in the recliner. I swear, this laptop has corrupted me.

Me too! Jim is looking really pathetic. I'm going to go play Florence Nightingale now! Talk to you all in the morning.

melissa, i hope we're not offending anyone. i wouldn't do that for the world. i definitely want to stay here on the core board. this is home. i didn't know about the 98% ff klondike bars. i'll look for them.

angela, be careful eating those skinny cows. curtis and i had some this week and the sorbitol in them got us if you know what i mean. it was very explosive around here for sure. i hope all goes well at the doctor's tomorrow. you won't be taking the girls, will you? maybe if you don't touch any more things than you have to in the office, you won't catch anything else.

melissa, i'm going to go read your thread about the core wendie plan. it sounds interesting. i'm anxious to read what everyone else says about it. i'll prob stick to the regular flex wendie plan for awhile, but this is definitely something to consider. today i started "putting back" more core foods into my meals. that may be a key, too.

vickie, how are you and jim feeling? i hope you're both better. what is catherines? is it like lane bryant? i was on the lb website the other day. they don't have nearly what they have in the stores. sure wish we had a store here. i don't think there's one in montana. did you see "what not to wear?" last night. the lady was shopping at lane bryant. this was an excellent episode for me. that lady was built a lot like i am. i got some good ideas. just wish i had $5000 to go shopping.

kathy, i'm corrupted, too. i opt out all the time so i can stay home.

okay, i'm going to go look for melissa's thread now. i'll see ya'll tomorrow.
