Wow you give Loonies? what if you get like 300 kids... lol I think I'd take my chances with the leftovers.

I've been so good, I have this huge basket of chocolate by the front door and I don't even look at it. My trip is 3 weeks away, I'm being strong now.

The reason I give loonies is because I never get more than 6 to 10 kids and it is just easier this way. For 300 . . .

LOL.... okay, 6 - 10 is reasonable! We get around 200... some years more some less... depends on the weather.

Okay I lied about willpower and being tempted... just had a mini mars bar.

Hi everyone and Happy Haloween everyone im feeling mighty fine today..its rainy and cloudy out and my sl was 88 this am..since we live in a rural area i dont usually get tricks or treaters but do have some candy on hand in case..no chocolate tho as i could not leave it alone..my dd and her dh have put up a haunted house tunnel in there front yard so we will go there and scare little kids ttfn rosey

We are rural, too . . . makes a big difference. When I was living in Ontario we used to get into the hundreds of kids too. Here . . . I think house parties are more popular than the door to door routine -- probably because it is usually cold. Who knows what this year will bring since the weather is better. If I get overrun, I'll just have to go into hiding with all the lights out, I guess.
