Hi girls...I decided to post a few more pictures from vacation and also the quilts I made my son and daughter. The first picture is of crater Lake. It was such a beautiful morning and Wizard Island reflected off of the lake. The second picture is of Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach, Oregon.

Tina, Erin and Shawn...You ladies look AWESOME!!!! Keep up the good work and just think what we will look like this time next year.

Hi - just a quickie. I've been away for a week on holiday and I came back to a 6 pound gain!!! Yikes! But then I was totally bad so it's my own fault. So no way am I going to make 153 by next Sunday - LOL! So I'm changing my goal. I should make 140 by Christmas but rather than have a big goal like that, I'm cutting it in half. My new goal is 152 by my birthday - October 28th. Last time I went away I put on 4 lbs and lsot it in the first week so I'm hoping that at least some of this weight will come off as quickly and I will make 152 WAY before my birthday!

It's been a difficult summer weight-wise but I'm putting at least some of it down to spending more time in bed and not working therefore not burning up as many calories. As also some of it is down to eating ice cream! Once I'm back to work it should start dropping off again!

Morning Ladies...Back to do some personals before I have to go to the lake.

Snow...Hope you are feeling better today. Great idea on brushing your teeth instead of eating!!!

Tina...You look AWESOME!!! Love the outfit you are wearing.

Robbin...I know what you mean about being busy, busy, busy with school and practices every night. Congrats on the one pound the fairy fat mother took.

Louie...Glad you are taking some time to enjoy yourself this weekend. Coffee with a friend sounds like fun.

Shawn...Hey Beautiful!! Loved your pictures, and you have such a great smile! Congrats on the one pound loss. You are doing great!!!

Erin...So glad to hear the surgery on your daughter went well. What a relief for you. Loved you pictures of before and now. I noticed a big difference. Your a southern beauty. Have you taken the sledghammer to the old scales? Bet it made you feel GREAT smashing it. Hit it for me as well. LOL

Ryanmi...There is a big difference from your picture last year and your avatar. Your a beautiful lady with a great smile.

Robsia...You will have those 6 pounds off in no time. You have done AWESOME and have so much to be proud of, besides you look pretty fabulous in those new jeans you last posted.

Well ladies, I'm off to do a little sewing before I have to get ready for an afternoon at the lake. Looks like it will be a pretty good day, not too hot.

Cheryl

Howdy ladies! Well, i got on the new scale and got 238.8 every time! This was 4 pounds off the dial scale which is consistent with the difference on the old scale when i first got it. I really think that is an accurate weight for me. I weighed for our competition at church today and was down 7 pounds from the last time, total of 47 all together, but they had me starting at a lower weight. My peak was 296 so to the 238 i have on the ticker right now actually is a 58 pound loss. I really think i will change the ticker to the 296 i really was when i started losing weight. Is that fair though, was actually like 288 when i joined the site then went up to the 293 i have as top now. What do ya'll think? I do all my counting from the peak of 296 so i constantly run different loss totals whenever i weigh.

Ryanmi - could definitely tell a difference in the pics!! You look awesome! I can really see it in your jawline! Keep it up and you will soon see the difference too! Hope you are enjoying your back to school frenzy and we will hear more from you soon!

Robsia - I know you will have those pounds off quick! Your avatar pic looks great! I still can't believe the dramatic change you had since your before pic you posted earlier, inspires me just looking at you!

Cheryl - Love the pics! those quilts are beautiful! You are so talented! Had to chuckle about your southern lady comment, i was born and raised in Pennsylvania so i guess i am a converted southern lady. Been here 17 years as of 8/1! I haven't gotten the sledge hammer out yet just burried the scale in the closet for now. After a couple of days of consistent readings the old one gets the heave ho!!! Garbage day is tuesday, so it will be out of here for sure by then!

Well gotta do some work, ya'll have a great evening and will see you tomorrow.

Cheryl, glad to finally put a face to the name. You look great! The scenery looks amazing, definitely a place I'd like to visit. And you're quilts are fantastic, you're so talented!

Erin, photobucket is a place to put your photos and it's easier to share because it gives you a html link to put into your posts. Pretty much copy and paste, if it's easy for me then it should be easy for anyone! LOL

Ryanmi, you look great! You can see a difference in your face for sure.

Robsia, not to worry. You've done so well that I'm sure you'll boot those pounds off no sweat! As soon as things get back into routine that it'll be easier to get back on course.

Robbin, wow! You can definitely see a big difference. Great job! You're rockin'! You're gorgeous!

MORNING GLORIES!! HOpe ya'll had a great weekend! Loving all the pics! Robbin you look awesome, what a difference! Unfortunatley scales were back up a little for me this morning, but at least it was the same thing everytime i got on!!!! Yeah! The old scale will hit the garbage this afternoon! I haven't moved my ticker up, cause i am really hoping it will be back down tomorrow. All the scale crazies have let me be a little more lax than i need to be so time to get in gear again and get that scale moving!

RObbin - as i said the pics are great, keep up the good work! Hope the busy weekend hasn't exhausted you too much!

Tina - is there a website to get to photobucket, sounds like i am going to have to try that!

Well ladies time to get the little one up for school and swap some laundry and pack lunch and head out for another wonderful day! Hope ya'll have a great one and will chat with ya'll later!! Erin

Good morning ladies, everyone looks awesome in their pics and you can tell the difference on all of you. I wish I had some time for personals but man I just can't seem to slow down. It is now 7:20 and I gotta get to running. Have to take the 3 older kids to school then take the youngest in for some x-rays, not sure if everyone remembers my post about his colon problems but they are getting worse and we have to have a peek inside again to see what is up. After the trip to the hospital I gotta take the films to the dr's office and meet with her then take the little one to school before I head off to work, after work we have another evening of practice 6:30 to 8:00 then it will be time for dinner baths and bed time. Wow busy busy busy.

See ya later

Good morning ladies!

Well, I'm probably going to drop a big one on ya right outta the blue! Truth is I've been thinking about this for a while.

I know we had a big ol' vote about our name being 100lbs. in a year and decided as a group not to change it. And we said it really wasn't about a time limit of a year...so to speak. But truthfully our title says what it says and being one of the longest, original posters to this thread....I AIN'T GOING TO MAKE THAT REQUIREMENT!

So I'm making a new thread and I want to welcome you all (if you like) to check it out. I think it would be a great way to gather new recruits to uplift and get some spunk going again.

I don't know how to make a link to a new thread so forgive me, it'll still be under the support groups forum....just look for "1 LB. DOWN AND PLENTY MORE TO GO".

I hope to see you there!
