That's awesome, my midwife said she wouldn't deliver if the baby came before 38 weeks, it would have to be done at the hospital. My earliest was exactly 2 weeks early so I made it.

Hi everyone!!!

I am new to the pregnancy post, but not new to babies or trying to control my weight. I gained 90 lbs w/my second baby boy (Dec. 2008) and was just starting to take some of the weight off before I found out I am now 5 weeks pregnant. My Dr. told me to try and gain no more than 15lbs this go around and keep up on my walking (I walk on the treadmill 3-4 miles daily). He did up my calorie intake though, which is best for baby.

It looks like all of you are doing super great and your babies are growing beautifully!!! I look forward to getting to know you all better and hopefully, I can help some of you like many of you have already helped me!! Congrats to everybody!!!

Best wishes,

Lorie

I just got a positive pregnancy test today! I have no doubt the weight loss helped! I am a bit paranoid about eating. My appetite has already kind of decreased, I have had "morning sickness" on and off all day. I will be 4 weeks tomorrow, so still early. Hoping this baby sticks. Its my first positive ever!

Pinkhoodie, that is fabulous news! PCOS can be such a heartbreakers and years of TTC can be very emotionally wearing. I am sending you the very best sticky vibes!

Welcome and best of luck with staying healthy and active during this pregnancy. It is absolutely doable, and will make your birth likely to go more smoothly

I have a question, is it normal for me to still be losing weight? Or is it indicating that I'm not eating enough calories? I'm a little over 4 weeks...

It sounds like all mommies and babies are doing wonderful in May!!

I joined 3FC about 2 months ago, but just found out I am pregnant last Tuesday, so I'm pretty new to this thread! I hope to meet some wonderful people here! I went for my first BETA test Tuesday, they called with the results, only 551. The nurse told me it usually just means it's very, very early pregnancy (around 5-6 weeks) and I need to come back in the following Tuesday and do another BETA, where the number should double if everything is good to go. My nurse said everything should be fine, but I'm still nervous, even though this will be baby 5. I hope to get to know everyone soon, and I hope maybe I can help with any questions any of you may have, just like a lot of ppl have done for me here at 3FC. Good night everyone!!! Best wishes to you all!!!!

Hi again everyone!! Thank you for the warm welcomes!!

Pink, with my 4 prior pregnancies I lost weight everytime during each first trimester, I think mostly due to the morning sickness (that lasted all day long!). It is normal, baby is busy developing organs right now, he/she wont start to put on real weight until further in your pregnancy. Just be sure you try to eat healthy foods, the only thing I can really tolerate at the moment is the cambell's select harvest soups (they have a lot of different varities) and they seem very easy to my tummy. I hope everything goes well for you!!!!!

Thanks again for the warm welcomes everyone!! I will bbl!! Have a great weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!
