Gina, it's so great to see you back, I was worried about you!! I knew something had to have happened, but hoped it wasn't too bad Glad things have gotten more normal again for you.
And I'm going to keep us at that nice, round number -- 0 lost, 0 gained for the week. (70.0 for the group, still.)
I know my eating and exercise was spot-on last week, so I'm assuming that the no change is due to some hormonal shifts/something I can't control. It's about mid-cycle for me and that seems to be when my body decides it likes to hold water. The fact that I didn't gain leads me to hope for a nice, satisfying loss next week!
So today is weigh in day for me, and since TOM is visiting, I wasn't expecting much. However, my body seems to have let go of the water I was holding in preparation for it last week. Imagine my surprise when I looked down at the scale and saw 155.2!!! I have been stuck at 158 for more than two weeks! I think some of the weight must have come off last week, but I didn't see a change because of the water weight. My motivation is completely renewed! I may hit 150 before April 1, and my cruise, after all!!!!
Group total = 80.2!
We've collectively lost over 80 pounds! That's amazing you guys!
Nothing to report this week, didn't lose an ounce and was sooo conscientious this week. Was so mad I kicked the scale. Not a good idea in socks! I guess I just have to keep telling myself I didn't gain anything either.
I'm going to cut my points down to the next lower level, I've decided. I'm only 5 pounds over the change number anyway, and since I am fairly sedentary, I just decided this is what I have to do.
Hey guys! I've decided to be a Weight Watchers drop out. I am paid through the end of March so I may go to another meeting or two, but that's it. There are several reasons for this, but it has a lot to do with my recent move. I just don't have the time, money, or concentration to be following a plan. I've lost weight on my own before, more than I have to lose now in fact, so I'm going to try that. I'm going to actually try a more intuitive weight loss approach...eat less, move more, etc. WW helped me get on track about portion sizes and mindful eating so I will definitely benefit from being a WW member.
Anyway, thank you all for your support! I'll still be around the forums and probably even visiting the WW forums for tips and motivation. Just wanted to let you all know and to thank you for all the support you've given me over the last few months.
