I've done it for three days now and plan to go in for a weigh-in tomorrow evening and will see if I am getting a new menu or not. Is anyone familiar with this menu? I drank my HNS mixed with a Sprite Zero the last two nights, then my friend (who is on the beige menu) told me that her menu says she can have up to 32 oz of diet soda a day. Mine doesn't say anything like that. The only meal that shows a drink (besides the HNS drinks) is breakfast, and it says decaf unsweet tea or coffee. So I'm not sure whether the Sprite was okay or not. I guess I'll see when I go in tomorrow.

If any of you were on this Meta Slim 4 day menu, did you stay on it for longer than four days, or did you get a new one?

ETA: Also, I'm embarrassed to admit this, but I didn't look at my menu carefully enough, because for two days, I ate two ounces of hard cheese at breakfast, then realized (while I was reading the menu to my friend) that I was only supposed to be eating ONE ounce of hard cheese for breakfast. I hope I haven't messed up too much this week.
After 4 days on that menu, you usually move to the blue one for 6 more days, then the green. I just finished the yellow and blue and start green tomorrow. I'm pretty sure at the very top it tells you you can have a certain amount of diet soda a day as long as it's non-caffeinated. Check at the very top.

I had my second WI today. I lost another 4.5 lbs in the last 10 days for a total of 8.5 lbs in 3 weeks. I'm pretty happy with that! Whoo Hoo!

Sounds like congratulations are due to everyone! All of you are shedding those pounds! Way to go.

I have my WI tomorrow and I'm scared...I totally blew it on Saturday when we ate out and I ordered poorly...Mexican food. My weakness. By my scale I'm up a pound...wish me luck.

Carmen, Connie, ginpea, chasingskinny, and Victoria Lynn, congrats on your weight loss!

You too, Jen.

Every little bit gets us closer to goal!

Good luck this morning, coarkkayaker!

I always draw encouragement when I see the losses everyone else has had. So I'm doubly glad when someone on here loses. It's so inspiring!

Good luck, Coarkkayaker! If I could offer a suggestion, discuss your Mexican food weakness with your counselor. They can offer suggestions to you of things you can eat at a Mexican restaurant that are on plan. Just because you are on this journey doesn't mean there aren't healthier alternatives there. Back in the day, my center had a "cheat sheet" of what you could get at various restaurants that are still on plan. It was a life saver for me. Check and see if they have a copy of that too.

Hi..
Weighed in and lost 1 1/2 pounds gained last week, so I am down 5 pounds from my maintenance goal.

Ginpea. You are on Meta Slim like I was before maintenance. First menu 1-4 days, second 5-11, third is for the rest of time till you hit stabilization. You will benefit yourself if you follow menu exactly as it is written. You had a nice weight loss. I do not believe any kind of soft drink is allowed on menu 1-4. Maybe on second one, and I think it is a limited amount.

I have a sheet that says what you can have at Mexican restaurant, Italian, etc and stay OP.. So, if anyone's center does not have it, let me know where you are going to eat and I will look it up for you

Congratulations to all the losers.. I am happy for y'all..

Hi all,

It sounds like many of us are doing well! Contrats to the losers! Things are a bit crazy right now and I have not had much time online but wanted to encourage you all to stay OP and keep going! If you went off plan get back on immediately and if you have stayed OP but the scale is not cooperating - don't give up! I will WI tomorrow and hope to sign that 40 lb board - It has taken several weeks to lose these last 2-3 lbs but my home scale shows a loss of 41 lbs so hopefully the scale at the center will copererate tomororw and I will finally sign that board.

Patzi - I bet it feels nice to have that 5 lbs of "wiggle room" - it sounds like you are learning to master maintenace.

Candi -welcome back - praying for you and you mom and all the changes and stresses caring for her can involve. I took care of my Mom for nearly a year and while at times it was exhausting and fustrating, I would not give up that time for anything in the world. We both learned so many things about each other and really did grow closer together. . . I love watching your profile picture continue to shrink so keep it up!

JenB - I've started looking into having my ring resized - decided to start off with just a ring gaurd, but soon I am sure we will have to do something more permenant or it is just going to slip right off my finger.

I'm falling behind again on all the posts!

I used to be able to check this thing every hour, while at work. And now that I'm doing two jobs, I don't have that privledge. Even got a text from one of my friends saying she hasn't seen me on facebook. I'm hoping things will start to settle down

Mariah - Good luck with the 40lb board! I will definitely check back tomorrow to find out if you made it!

Patzi - You are Amazing! Congrats on your maintenance.

JenB - I don't have a wedding ring but I do have my college class ring, which I got in 2003 (it took me about 10 years to graduate college, so it's special to me). I've been trying it on about every other week and I'm just now able to slide it on my finger all the way! It's still a little snug but I can't wait to be able to get that thing sized down! Congrats to you!

Congrats to all the losers & welcome to all the new people!

As for me - I went for a WI this morning and only lost .5lbs over the weekend. Which puts me 9.5lbs away from the 70lb board! HA! I hope to get there next week or the week after. This weekend was just crazy and my meals times were pushed back because I was out running errands and taking my mom places. Plus, I went to the chiropractor last night for an adjustment and I'm hurting a little bit today - so hoping to show a bigger loss at the end of the week because of water weight.

Hope everyone is having a great week!

Well Ladies, It sounds like we're just all a bunch of LOSERS!!!
I never thought I'd want to be called that, but isn't is awesome??!!

Congrats to all of you. How amazing that so many of you are about to sign the 60 & 70 lb board!! And then their is Patzi.....the "Rock Star" with the 5 lbs under goal!! Oh, and let's not forget Jen, with having to get her ring resized! It's all so exciting.

For the 1st time in my life, I really think I can do this!

At my WI this morning, I am down 1.0 in only 3 days and that is WITH PMS!!
I was sooooooo surprised, I've always gained 3 lbs during this time.

I have no doubt that MRC WORKS!!

Weighed in today, and I'm up another pound. Grrr.

Really, though, I'm not terribly concerned--I weighed in right after lunch, and I usually never do that so soon after a meal. Also, I'm still under goal--even my center's goal (they wanted me at 191). So, I'm just looking at this as being normal fluctuation. I figure I'll worry about it if it goes up again next week--then I'll just go back to week 6 of stabilization, maybe do a day of metaquick, too.

Congrats to all the losers this week! It sounds like the warm weather is really helping everyone shed the lbs!

Hi ladies--I'm so happy to read about all the lbs. lost recently! yay!! As for me, I'm SO hungry today. I don't know what my deal is, it's been the past two days and I'm just hungry. I've been OP since the end of April and have never felt this way, surpisingly. Do you think I'm doing something wrong? I'm actually starting to really feel good about everything this week--my clothes are too big, I FEEL like I look better, maybe it's all in my head? I've lost 26 lbs, well, maybe another by now, but I have quite a ways to go. I need to get my head back in this game!

Not to get your hopes up, but I always had a pretty good loss after I had a day or two of feeling really hungry. I used to joke that it must mean that my body got hungry enough to eat itself.

LOL--I hope you're right! As long as I can stay OP--I already had a couple of cherry tomatoes cause I just needed something! --I guess it could have been worse, huh?

teacherlady- I remember you saying this before-that a few days of hunger while on plan can lead to a big loss. I kept telling myself this last night and didn't cheat.

Today I had to make myself eat- go figure.
