tkdtara, congrats on the loss and yay for being out of the 190s!

Mariah, I love your attitude. Did you agree to be on the float? It's awesome that they asked you!

ginpea, I don't know the answer to your question, but drink at least 100 ounces of water tomorrow to flush that sodium out of your system.

ginpea-- They may make you stay on for a few more days since you were OP at the family thing. If it were just sodium, I doubt they'd make you do it over since it will just flush out of your system in a few days. Preconditioning is supposed to wean you off carbs and caffeine, so I don't know what they'll do. I still bet you've lost some weight, though, just probably not quite as much as you would have otherwise. The sodium from eating out will be making you hold some water, and the carb intake at the family thing can also make you hold water, even if it didn't actually put on a bunch of fat.

tkdtara that's an awesome weight loss. I'm about the same weight and goal as you. I only lost 4 lbs on preconditioning. I just finished the yellow menu, so I'm just about where you are. I can't make it to the center this week but I'm pretty sure I've lost a bit more. Even my boyfriend said he can see that I've lost, and it's most noticeable in my face. That was nice to hear since I don't get to weigh in this week and have a number as a reward.
I love reading everyone's progress. Hang in there and stay OP!

Talking I'm Baaaaaaaaaack!

Hey Gang!

I have been crazy busy and have not read any posts in the July Thread, I have a lot of catching up to do! We left Friday to drive home from Pensacola. The drive took a lot longer because every time we stopped, I had to unload the motorized scooter we got for my mom.. get her in whatever gas station bathroom and then load everything back up. Definitely got a work out from lifting that thing! We stopped off in Horn Lake, MS and spent the night and finally made it home Saturday around 5:30pm. Thank goodness I had Sunday & Monday to relax in my jammies and do absolutely nothing!

Tuesday was my first day back at the office and I'm back to doing 2 jobs. The admin, which was my old job, was fired while I was gone. Not sure how long I will be doing 2 jobs but the stress has already set in a bit. Plus, I'm not going to be the Sales Analyst anymore, I'm actually switching back to the admin role under my old boss - which I love him to death and work better on his team. Great thing is - I get to keep my full time status, pay & benefits! Yiiipppieee!! I'm not going to complain about that!

So Tuesday was my first WI since Friday, June 24th. I was nervous! Even though I had cooked most of my meals, the stress and lack of routine while in Pensacola I thought for sure was going to throw me off. Drum Roll Please.......... I lost 5lbs! That puts me 2lbs away from the 60lb board! Hoping to hit it by tomorrow but if not, then I will definitely get it next week!

Oh! And I'm the feature client this month at my center. I'm attaching a picture and also attaching the Top 10 List they asked me to type up. The Center Manager and a few of the consultants said they LOVED my top 10 and it was like I had worked at the center for years. And several people have asked to meet me - so they may be setting up a class for me to come in and talk about stuff. Not sure when but I'm excited!

Anyway! I promise to get caught up on things and welcome to all the newbies and congrats to everyone for the losses! I've missed you guys and glad I'm back! Hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the week!

Welcome back, Candi!!!! So glad the trip went well and you still managed to lose weight. That just goes to prove, just because you travel, doesn't mean you can't stay OP. It just takes planning.

Also congrats on being the featured client and thanks for providing your Top 10. It makes me feel good to see I do a lot of the things on your list. I also am a big believer in using a binder and doing my food sheets electronically. I constantly get from the counselors, "Why can't all our clients be like you?" LOL Keep it up!!!!

I have been away on business, and there seem to be so many that have lost, I want to say congrats to all of you.

Welcome back Candi.. I had a note to inquire as to where you were , as I had not see you posting.

Momoffour. You are such an inspiration. To hear you say you will not let the
scale ruin or upset your day is just great to hear. You have a fantastic attitude. Great to be asked to be on the float.

Wishing everyone a great weigh in and I will be back tomorrow with my weigh
in.

I just had the coolest experience. They have a professional photographer in our labs today to take professional shots and I was asked to be one of their models!!! To make it even better, my lab coat was too big for the pics. I was swimming in it. So, I had to get a smaller one. I went from an X-Large to a Medium. What fun!!!

victorialynn-- congrats on your weight loss, too. I think comments like that are even better than a loss on the scale.

JenB-- that is an awesome NSV-- XL to M is a huge difference.

Rzrbackcandi - great job! I think losing on vacation should be worth double the points :-)

JenB72 - I'm an XL right now and man I can imagine how wonderful it will feel when I get to a med. Way to go!

Jen...
Gosh, that is such great news.. Smaller sizes do something for a person when that happens. I am so happy you have gone from an XL to a medium. That sure is a decrease in size.. Great job.

Candi, what an inspiration! I love your top 10. Thanks for sharing!

JenB, you skipped a whole size! Go you!

victorialynn, it's awesome that you're starting to see progress (even better that others are!).

I feel like my body figured out today what's been going on and is trying to put a grinding halt to my loss! Cravings have been hitting me like mad and I kept getting hungry between meals. I've stayed OP, but man, toughest day yet!

Rzrbackcandi Loved reading your post and congrats on your loss! I really like the workbook you created. If you are inclined to share that, I'd love to use it.

JenB72 Congrats! I am also currently a XL and can't wait to be a M again. Keep up the great progress.

tkdtara84 Thanks!

I am so glad to have found this forum. I go in for food instruction today and I know that I have lost at least 2 pounds this week just doing the preconditioning menu and PORTION CONTROL. I am looking forward to all the help that MRC gives. I am also grateful to have found this forum it helps to read everyone's posts and stay motivated. Just wanted to throw it out there that I am excited to go and excited to be a part of this forum. You all that post seem like truly awesome people and we are all trying to do the same thing. I have been taught poor eating habits my whole life and looking forward to the lifestyle changes that MRC is going to be teaching me.

Happy Friday everyone. Wishing everyone a great weekend and the will power to stay OP. This weekend I have a personal challenge. All week I lose weight – then gain it back over the weekend (because I have a hard time getting my water in, I think). So, this weekend I’m drowning myself so that when I step on the scale Tuesday morning – it’ll show me what I want to see!

Some of you have motioned cravings…have you checked out the thread for recipes? I only say that because some of them say that they are good for fighting cravings. I haven’t tried them yet (not much of a cook) but it might be helpful?
