For those of you who have done MediQuick:

What types of results have you seen and how many days did you do it???

I'm going for WI tomorrow (skipped today!) and if I am still stuck, I will consider it.

JunieB~ You answered one of my questions.....I wondered if they ever put anyone back on the yellow or blue menus to jump-start weight loss. I just wonder if that would be better/faster than MediQuick.

Hi..
Ginpea...
I refused to take the hormone test. They kept trying to push it on me, but I refused.. I am a nurse and told them, if it was needed would have my GYN take it .

brandy8188... I had many a .5 losses, glad this one was better for you. It is motivating, for sure. If you are having a glass of wine, I would take a fat and carb blocker with it. I take two each time I eat out.

Jen... What about trying Meta Quick for 3-4 days to give you a boost? That is what I do. Also check your journal, and maybe prepare foods a bit differently than you have.. I know how frustrating this is, but hang in there.

I did that for a while with the bars, too. It was just easier than having to plan out meals/food choices sometimes. However, it did slow my weight loss down, I noticed. Once I went back to eating OP with only 1 or 2 bars a week, my weight loss picked back up again.

That's good to know. I didn't know if it was a coincidence or not. It's good incentive not to have too many. I'll try to do this week without them and see how it goes. Thanks.

Hi there - you all seem like a positive group so i thought i would pop in and say hello. It seems odd to join a July group at the end of the month, but no time like the present to start weight loss. All these posts have pursuaded me to have a drink of water instrad of food, so I guess this is a success!!

Welcome! Enjoy that water!

I didn't make it to WI today, will go tomorrow. I was back up a lb this morning--I just don't know what the heck is going on. I'm guessing it's stress--it's not been a very good week. I won't give up though.

Just a quick note to say "Hi" everyone! Welcome haggis too.

I finally got rid of my extra water so I think my WI will go a lot better this Monday. (I can only make it to the center once a week). I hope the rest of you that were stuggeling with me are having a better week. Congrats to the loosers and hang in there everyone!

Well, my scale still didn't read 163 this morning. It went straight to 162.6!!!!! What a relief!!! Thank you so much, everyone, for your support and encouragement. I think I'll still do Meta-Quick next week, though. I just want to keep it going. As far as time left on my plan, I have until Labor Day. I'll probably re-enroll, so I'm not stressing over time left on plan. 150 was the MRC goal, but I'd like to get to 135 - 140.

Jen...
Glad scale moved.. I knew it would, but could really understand frustration when it does not. Jen if you can get under your goal, as you desire, that would be great. I would advise that to anyone that can do it or wants to do it as it gives you a buffer to experiement with foods.

For those that asked about Meta -Quick. It works if you use it once in awhile, but I found if used to often, works the opposite, does nothing or I gained maybe 1/2 a pound.. I found it best when i did it 4 days straight and then went back to the original menu for one day after, the second menu the day after that and then back to the 3 Meal plan menu. I was on Meta Slim diet. I also learned from a friend, that when she used the bars too often, she stalled and became constipated. But Meta-Quick does work if you work it and eat nothing except what is listed on that sheet.

RaRaF... Stress does run havoc with weight loss. I found that out, but hang in there, and speak to consultant and try something different on diet to shake it up again .. Hang in there. I know it is frustrating, but make the center help you here. You did hit the 30 pound mark, so that is a great acomplishment. It will happen.

Haggis.. Welcome.. Great support group here.

Connie.. I have done Meta Quick as I mentioned before and then other times I have gone back on menus also to jump start. Both work, as long as one stays OP.

Congrats to all that lost weight, and for those struggling, we have all been thru it, but I made it to maintenance, so it can be done, and many of you heard me on here complaining and frustrated at times thru my challenge, so please hang in there and don't give up. This program works well if you work it and stay OP.

Have a great weekend everyone.. Hot and humid here in the south.

Patzi:
I agree about the Walden Farms Peanut Butter-awful! I took one bite and threw the whole jar (4.00) away! Have you tried the PB2 powdered peanut butter? I'm not on maintenance yet, but bought some for when I get there and just had to try a little! It's actually pretty good.

Woo-Hoo!! I FINALLY moved the scales!!

I lost the 1 lb I had gained and an additional 2 lbs, so I am in my "40's". What a relief.

The consultant I had today was very calming and reassuring. She said even if we are staying at the same weight, our bodies are working on losing the weight and we will eventually see it on the scales.

Thanks for your support and encouragement everyone! I am off to eat breakfast and get a workout in before it gets much Hotter!

Hi ladies--finally got to WI today and "officially" hit the 30 lb mark. I didn't sign the board though, because they had a food class going on and there were tons of people in there. PLUS--my 10 year old daughter tried out for a softball team this morning and MADE IT! They only took 6 girls, and there were 25 that tried out. I'm so, so proud! She's a pitcher.

This week will be tough--it's fair week!

RaRaFa ~ Congrats on hitting 30 lbs!! That is soooo exciting! Your daughter must be an amazing pitcher to make the team out of 25 girls. I have a 10 yr. old daughter too, so I know you had a very Proud-Mom moment!! : )

I hit 15 lbs today......I'm almost 1/2 to my goal!

Have a Great Weekend everyone!

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Managed to stick "OP", as you call it, today and will weigh in tomorrow. Hopefully a bit down!
