I eat deli meat every morning for breakfast (odd choice for breakfast, I know, but it doesn't bother me). Does the salt actually prevent you from losing fat or does it just cause you to hold water? In general, I try to do what they say, but on the salt thing, it seems like the fat loss would show up eventually even if you are holding water. Is it just so you can see a consistent loss at every WI and not get discouraged, or is there a fat loss issue behind it?
I've wondered the same thing. It doesn't have extra fat or calories, so maybe the water will eventually go away? I wish I understood a little more about what this all means. I'm reading a book right now "The Metabolism Miracle" that has explained a little, but I'm not very far into the book either. Originally Posted by tkdtara84
