Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday Fifties Lady, Happy Birthday to you, CHA CHA CHA!! Hope you have a wonderful Birthday! :gift: :bday2you: |
Lori, it sounds like you had a blast in Omaha! the part about being glad your room was on the first floor had me giggling out loud. sometimes it's nice to just cut loose and have a few beverages, am i right? i've done so maybe twice so far on plan and it's been worth it both times. :)
thanks again for all the well-wishes for the FIL! he's currently able to communicate via writing and they're expecting to take the tube out by the end of the week, i hope. this truly is a miracle and i know it's in large part because of all the positive thoughts and prayers from our friends and family. woohoo! FL, happy birthday!!!!! i hope you are treated to a good loss. and i didn't get a chance to sign up for classes, so maybe you could send me some cliffs notes? i'd like to go but i just don't think they'd let me in without signing up, they make it sound like the classes are always completely full and don't allow non-signed-up attendees :( i'm still not sure if i'm 100% ready for mexico... i'm hoping that things with the FIL are more stable before i leave because otherwise i'll be worrying the whole time. i'm also not sure about being able to stay OP with all the delicious food and drinks, but you all are right, i shouldn't worry too much about it. after all, i'm already back down to 185 after my whole week of fast food and non-exercise, so maybe it won't be so bad anyway. i'm still pretty sure that i'm going to have to extend my contract (maybe to just the end of the year? i was supposed to be done by 11/23 but i just don't see that happening with 30 pounds to go), but that's OK. as long as i get to my goal, right? just having a means to an end already means more to me than anything else. |

Happy Birthday FL! Maybe the scale will give you a gift with it being a good loss.
Lori, glad to hear you made it back. It's great to see you had such a good time and your friend now has great memories to boost her through taking care of her family. GWE, happy birthday to your son too. |

Was looking to bring some back for the kids. Packed way down in my suitcase so I was not tempted! Wondered about the clothes vs the confidence. Everyone was so friendly there! Quote:

FifitesLady,

Hello, Everyone!
My computer is still being repaired so I haven't been able to check on everybody. I've really missed all of you. Happy Birthday, Fifties Lady! My birthday is coming up to and I am SO glad I'm doing this program. I had hoped to be at goal by my birthday but it looks like it will be a Hanukkah present instead. I have to say...thank goodness September is over. Not a good month for me as far as weight loss and a horribly busy time at work. Still at the same weight as I was four weeks ago but I think I'll see a drop tomorrow. I can almost feel it. I posting illegally from work so I have to go now. Congrats to everyone who's lost and for those who haven't--hang in there!! |

First, I want to thank all you wonderful Ladies in sending me great B-day wishes. You are all so nice. And GWE, tell your son Happy B-day too.
Well, I decided to go WI today, shouldn't have...I gained a pound...and I didn't even have any B-Day cake...now that is a bummer. I did get Jeannie who signed me up and that was well worth going today. We talked for a good 30 minutes and that really helped me. She thinks I should try the MediQuick, so maybe if nothing improves by next week, I may have to give it a shot. I asked her about getting a Tanita reading and she was surprised that it wasn't done the first month. So I told her that the counselor said they don't do it until after two months....she wanted to know which one said that because it was not right. I couldn't remember. I also told her about the comment that Robin had to approve your chart for measurements, and that to was not correct. She was quite upset that I was told that by staff. She said I could get a reading anytime, but they should be doing it monthly, along with the measurements. She told me to let her know if anymore mis-information is given to me. So now I'm feeling much better, and that my feelings were validated. My readings had not changed much from my very first readings, and it showed that I am dehydrated...how can that be with drinking so much water? So I will increase my water and HNS"s to 5 and see if I get some results. This was very depressing today....I could have at least remained the same instead of gaining. I will WI again Saturday and see if I get a loss this time. It's a good thing I don't have any B-day cake around, because I would be so tempted to eat it all!!! |
