Thanks!
Thanks for all the nice compliments. I do feel good and healthy. My annual physical is next month, and I can only imagine my doctor's surprise, not to mention the change in lab results.
As an FYI, I just had a PM from Miss Gigi. She's back from Korea and hopes to get back to this forum soon. I really missed her. Would still like to hear back from 3MonkeysMomma and see Angieroo post again. Those three and several other MIAs sure kept things lively and encouraging. I hope they may be lurking and will join us again. :hug: |
Yummy!!! that sandwhich sounds wonderful...last night I wanted strawberry shortcake so bad!!!! But I had a double chocolate creamy instead....much better then the vanilla. But I want to try the vanilla with the diet pop and crused ice too....

FANTASTIC!!!:cp::cp::cp::cp: |
Hi everyone! My fiance and I did MRC Jan.-May of 07 and both lost around 30 lbs. I kept all of mine off and he only gained 10 or so lbs. We are now back on the "plan" but w/o the center. We ordered our proteins offline and have done great our first week. We still had a ton of left over protein and puddings from before (we stock pilled..lol) so that is what we are trying to use up now. Does anyone know if there have been any advancements or changes since spring of 2007. Wish us luck.
I am only trying to remember what we ate for dinner besides chicken.. Gosh it has gotten old very quickly. |

I remember just about the time the Destin center opened that I saw something in the news about the FL govt. trying to crack down on companies making 'outrageous' weight loss claims. That was also around the time that MRC went from claiming 2 lbs. per week to 3-5. At the time, I wondered if they'd get reviewed. I'm SURE they have to have the statistics to back up those claims, at least here. I don't know how about other state regulations. |

pbolton1..Are you doing MRC again now? I see your pic from '05 and you look amazing! Did you gain some of your weight back? Sorry, I should know this, but I got behind! Also, 3 hours @ the gym! OMG! What do you DO for 3 hours?? My dh would have a fit if I was at the gym for 3 hours and he was home with the kids! :) [/QUOTE] I go back OP every now and again when I gain a bit. I am up 14 lbs. right now after too many vacations, house guests, etc. :) I hope to have the majority of it off before the next vacation in Sept. I'd LOVE to lose another 5-10 over that, but I've never managed to get that far. When I'm not OP, I usually try to follow a typical bodybuilder's diet. Very similar to MRC actually, but I think easier for my head to grasp :dizzy: Hubby is working this weekend, my kids are grown, too hot to play outside....I love being at the gym. I don't typically stay three hours, but it is quite easy for me to do. Lifted weights a bit over two hours and then the treadmill for a while. I try to watch the clock & get done quicker, but when I'm not in a hurry, I tend to daydream a lot. The gym is so much better than coming home to housework (and readily available food). |
It is so funny when you leave for a few days and come back in the form is 5 pg long...
Went on my camp trip had a great time. Also I made really good choices, I took my own bread and drink LOTS of water!!!! Also I never missed my drinks or pills!!! I am not going to WI tell Tuesday just to make sure I am the same or below!!! Hope everyones weekend was great also |
ROCKI YAY!!! You did it! 40 pounds gone and almost in the 120's. You're definitely keeping me motivated!

Good for you on making 131, I can't wait till I can see even 140 on my scale, my goal for MRC is 140 but I think that will be adjusted as I get closer to it, "my" goal is 130. Good for you, I do hope you will post an updated photo for us to see, it is so encouraging. |
