Thank you Missy.... "your fat can't fight you forever!" ... good message! - I needed to hear it! THANKS!

And thank you Terri! - wow... you haven't even started yet, & you're already hip with the rah-rah-yay! THANKS! - it means a lot to me!

I'll keep trying. I can't quit in just two weeks. That'd be a waste of money, & I hate to waste money.

Thanks again y'all!

Aww Beachy! Missy is right! We have seen some killer plateaus and it takes pure determination and stubbornness. You have to be more stubborn than your body...Because when that plateau breaks (and it will!) You will start loosing like you never stopped. Then you really start to appreciate every pound that comes off. And you gain alot of respect for yourself with the confidence that you can power through. Luckily I'm stubborn...so my body didn't stand a chance! Hang in there...The goal is so worth it!!

Missy-Glad to hear you so chipper again! Congrats on all the milestones! My thoughts will be with you today...This milestone could leave some mixed emotions. Hang tough girl!

Terri-I'm almost as anxious as you are for your order to arrive. I love haering about people starting the program and the amazing first week results! Glad you got the avatar working! Now we know who we are talking to!

Hi Ashley, Susan. Dan!
Hope everyone had a great weekend!

I'm still trying to get through that 30 day shred DVD! I have now been on level 2 for 14 days. I refuse to move up to level 3 until I can get through level 2 without stopping for 2 days in a row. I just have poor upper body strength. so It is turning into more of a 40 Day Shred for me...

I'm even more excited about Vegas now. I noticed an airfare sale this weekend. Tickets are now dirt cheap! so...I got tickets for my other DD, SIL and the grandbaby. Now the whole family will be going! Of course now both of my DD's are working me for new clothes and extra spending money on the trip! Geesh...they are insatiable money gobblers!

That's all from the Midsouth...How is everyone else doing?

DJ~ woo-wee, you are so close to your goal of 180! You are doing great!!

Beachy~ DJay gave the best advice. I can only add from my short experience on the program that those "old bars" were making me hit 90-100 carbs, and now that I'm off those and only having the "new bars", I'm able to stick to 80-85 carbs which has made a difference I think. In the latter part of last week, I saw 2 lb. loss from Thurs-Sun. and only 1 lb from Mon-Thurs while still eating old bars. Also, logging in my every bit of food/condiments on MyPlan on MF site really helps me keep track of each carb.

Missy~ Congrats on being overweight!!

Dan~ Are you competing in the triple blast holiday challenge? I'm excited to start working out after Tgiving week!

I've been tracking my calories/carbs thru the medifast site. I am 99% between 80-87 carbs per day. I think my body is just really fighting weight loss this time around... due to *age* and those blasted dadgum hormonal shifts! ARGH! -

I did order some new bars, we'll see if that makes a diff, but like I reported earlier, I AM "2 pounds down" this week... it didn't show up Friday, Sat or Sun... but it was there this morning... 180 on the scale! - so WOO HOO anyway!

Yahooooweeee, Beachy!! I'm so glad the scale dropped for you today! I was so frustrated myself on Thurs. with the scale. But yet I'm glad I peeked bc. it made me work it even harder for Mon. weigh-in. 2 lbs. of pure fat, you know that's not any water when we're into week 3 now! I just got off the phone with my health coach. I could not be doing this without this support here and from the MF community.

Oh, thank havens for this support group! I was just on the verge of undoing myself! It seems that almost every month I find out something my husband (soon to be ex) has done to undermine me, I just found that he got a credit card in my name and of course has not been making payment and the account is now in collection!! I was so beside myself with fury and needed to calm down and thought that pizza sounds good for lunch.

While waiting for the delivery I decided to read today's posting on the 3fc and I am so glad I did, the pizza is now in the break room for who ever wants it and I have had my lunch (a shake) I cannot believe I almost blew my progress because of someone I should not let get under my skin, that really would have compounded the injury. And I am really surprised at myself for even considering it because I normally do not reach for food for comfort, I guess that was just one too many.

Anyway, I am glad you are all there. Thanks

Hello Hello Hello

Sure is empty in here today! Where is everyone? So busy eating on plan that you have no time to post?

I had a good day today! I finally worked up the nerve to graduate to level 3 of the 30 Day Shred! And I did it all the way through without a break! It took me 25 days to get to this point...but it sure feels good!

Hope everyone is doing well!

Hi dJay! I need to check out that Shred. Getting ready to watch BLoser show now! It is quiet here. I know that dan & I are over on the MF Boards alot- alot of activity over there. You should come join the "Power Team" I'm on- it's just being formed by my health coach. The groups/teams make the forum more intimate, less overwhelming.

Hi Asley!
What is your name on the medifast boards. Mine is djay0261. I just never really took the time to figure out how to edit and get around that forum...I guess I'm lazy...I got used to 3fc and I do what comes easy.

I'm "Goinglean" on MF. Here's the link to our Power Team, for you and anyone who wants to join in the group just to chat like we do here. It's nice having the couple of support groups, for me- I need it! I'm on & off there all day- helps me feel less isolated, less like I'm in outer space living like an astronaut on powder. lol

DJay,
I laughed when I read your post. I haven't had time to come in here and read the posts lately and when I read your post about the 30 day shred and the reference to Vegas, it made me laugh. I JUST PURCHASED the 30 day shred (still in its wrapper) and I JUST made air reservations for Vegas. We aren't going to Vegas until April, but I do enjoy looking forward to it!
I hope you have a great time! Where are you staying?

Hello everyone,
I have been so busy with work and my 88 yr old grandmother has been in the hospital over 1 week, so I've been nuts. She will have a pace maker put in either tomorrow or Friday depending on the doctors schedule.
I just finished reading everybodys posts and it sounds like everyone is doing well. I have stuck in the same spot this last week but in all honesty there were a few days where I ate things I should NOT have. I have got to get back to business and quick. Glad to see veryone is doing well.
