Good Morning Mama, Leens and all to come

Boy oh Boy, you sure miss alot when life gets busy. So much has happened around here in the last week! Hubby had to take care of funeral arrangements this week, which caused enormous stress on both of us. After all was said and done, him and his boys are now closer than they have ever been. In all the sadness, there was alot of good that came out of this event. As of today, I promised hubby to help bring life back to normal and we will get on with our day to day lives.

I see lots has happened around here too.....I did a bit of catching up, but I still have to do somemore!

Today Im back on body for life, and I am off to make my coffee, and start my "mind set" exercises. For my own health and well being I have to keep to my new yrs resolution.

Have a great day everyone!
Robin

ps Kel~ felt good when you completed your "firsts" didnt it?

So strange to have the site down when I get up in the morning. It's lonesome!
We are loaded with snow but it has finally stopped. I hope the Plough Lad comes soon as I need to go to a rehearsal in the city tonight. Getting stuck in the lane would not be a good start to a long and tiring evening.

Kevin finally showed up this morning to continue with the closet chaos. I hope he gets the doors on this afternoon so I can start putting clothes back in place. I hate living in a mess! I should paint the inside of the closet first but my back is a bit sore from shovelling and wood lugging so it will just have to wait! I need staff!

I hope Monday has been good to you so far and that we are heading into a successful week.

lol - that is cute, Leens!

Morning all! I thought I would be working away with my new boss by this time but he called this morning (10 minutes before I was to leave - almost missed me!) to say sadly that his mother had died early this morning so work was off for today. I will meet him at the client's tomorrow at 11:30.

*sigh* Its a grey day here again today. Looks like chili weather so I'm going to throw some fixings in the crock pot.

Robin - I'm sorry that your family is having to deal with some sadness. Nice to see you posting again.

L - Dontcha just hate dealing with car issues? Glad that it's all done for ya now.

Ruth - I hope the 'plow lad' shows up soon. And I totally agree on the staff issue! It would sure make life an easier row to hoe!

Have a great rest of the day. Hey! I just realized that it have expected time today - maybe I can de-christmas around here! (or just read for a few hours! lol)

Default Like A Virgin!!!!

Hi gang. Nice to see your smiling faces although most of you are long gone by the time I get here.
I'm so happy to report that this morning's weigh-in put me UNDER 270 for the first time in YEARS. WOO HOOO! I'm afraid to believe it in case it's just a figment of my imagination. This Atkins '72 is really doing the job for me and I'm feeling so much better (except for this miserable sore throat which is lingering on)
I was going to post last night to brag about my accomplishment yesterday but the site was down. I got a bee in my bonnet (does anybody say that anymore?) and did a thorough cleaning of my ensuite bathroom. Gosh, I'm a disgusting person! How could I ever let it get into such a state....but then, you'd only have to see the state of my kitchen drawers and my home office to know what kind of slothful person I am. I hope this new burst of energy continues. It would be great to get the whole house cleaned and organized but it was probably just a flash in the pan.
Where do we change our info like tag lines, etc, now?

Whew! so glad we're back online!!! I wanted to post this morning before leaving for work, really ... only the site was still down.........well, better late than never! OK, we are now coming to the close of day #5 OP for me!! whoo hoo......... sometimes I actually amaze myself!!!

Leens....... loved the joke (only for some of us it's no joke!!

Boy oh boy, it sure is good to see so many familiar faces back here - Robin, sorry for the sadness in your house...

Kel, glad you got an extra day to de-Christmas

L - I bring my truck in for the oil change & 7500 mile service on Wednesday before work, only I already know it's gonna cost $120..... how did you get yours free? or was that only for fixing the breaks and they charged for the regular service?

Ruth - I hope Kevin got the closet doors on for you. What about Gail - did she come today? My Gail (whose name is really Ingrid) will be here on Thursday - I can't wait; and the shame of it all is that she came the day we left for Florida, we were away for a week and have only been home 5 days!!! Does this sound familiar to anyone else out there? You be careful about all that shovelling and stuff that you're doing... as far as needing staff, hmmmmmm - maybe you can get the doggage to work for their supper?

LindaBC - don't be embarrassed about the bathroom, kitchen drawers and office. To know that you're in good company, all you have to do is look at what I just wrote!!!

I know that it's early, but I think I'm gonna start getting ready to get ready to go to bed since I need to get up extra early, and all by myself, tomorrow. DH got a call to go for an audition in NYC tomorrow early a.m., so he just left to go into the city now, he'll stay at dd's so he doesn't have to fight rush hour traffic in the morning..... that means a quiet night around here - no snores waking me up in the middle of the night!!! Hopefully, it also means I'll sleep all night - I hope so, tomorrow will be a very long day....

Have a good night everyone............

Hey Sono,
Good to see you...what kind of audition? You have me interested.
the car thing,if I remember correctly was a promotion for the dealership. the catch is I can't do work, oil, tire, major services, any place else. I have to get the car in within a certain # of miles and all servicing is included until 60,000 miles. It is a little bit of a game, if I miss the milage for a oil change for example, the contract becomes null and void....
more than you wanted to know I am sure

I am off to bed too...nighty night.

L - dh is making a second career for himself as an actor. He has appeared in commercials, some student and indie film, also All My Children, Sex in the City and Curb Your Enthusiasm... mostly as walk-ons or "under 5" lines - he also was the murderer on an episode of Forensic Files; last summer he shot a film w/Allen King and that tall blonde woman from "3rd Rock" - Kirsten somebody; it hasn't been released yet. Today's audition is for something that the Discovery Channel is doing, I don't know what it is.
Thanks for the info about the car service, I was beginning to wonder about my dealer!!
