Angry Thursday~July31st

Goodmorning all!
It's Thursday morning, 5:39AM (Arizona Time)--
I have been reading through all the posts and finding this quite helpful and enjoyable!
I started my dau at 4 this morning....let's see. I worked out until 5am at the gym at my apts, and now as I sit here I am eating my breakfast.............

1boiled egg, and a spicy italian sausage.

I feel so full,I think I might explode, lol.

Anyway I am feeling great, and its so invigorating to know I will soon be able to fit into a smaller size....

I can't get wait to get rid of the chunky clothes in my closet

Welp! I gotta get going-I have to be at work in a few hours...so I need to start getting myself and my daughter ready!

Happy Thursday to you all

Good morning, Julia. I am an earlybird too but have changed my schedule slightly so I don't check in as early.

Heard on CNN that SlimFast stocks are not doing well due to the increased interest in low carb and Atkins products. Even the stock market is low carbing!

I'm off to town for a super store shop this morning. A taste of civilization! No need to buy veggies as my garden is starting to produce at last. Soon I'll be whining about keeping up with the cukes and tomatoes and beans!

I pitched some very alrge pants and shirts this morning. I have passed comfy and am into sloppy on some of the outfits. Even my DH complained about my baggy pants so it's time to throw the size 22's away forever! It's nice to be in "normal" sizes, even if they are size 18 edging into 16.

Have a super Thursday, Chickies. "Yield not to temptation" :lol;

Good Morning Julia and Ruth

Im not surprised about slimfast stocks, I suspect we will start to see lowcarb restaurants in some of the bigger cities soon enough. Or at least some lowcarb selections on menus.

Ive finally got my mind set on this weightloss.....it was gone for a long time. But Im feeling very good about it...so I need to loose as much as possible before its gone again I honestly think getting it off is the easy part, maintaining it going to be extremely difficult! As long as I remember that this is forever, and sugar is my enemy, I should do fine.

Its been really quiet at the store this month, we are still competing with the closure sale going on next door. She still isnt leaving though. She has too much stuff left in her store. So she pays rent 2 weeks at a time until she is out of stock. Well, Ive had enough of it. We are really stuck as to what to do. We dont want another month like this one. Not right now, we are trying to get organized for the fall season, and with little money coming in, our stock situation isnt moving. Hubby and I have been brain storming over it, and we may have a few solutions. At least something to get us thru the next 2 months before the xmas shopping starts. On the up side, his sign business has been very busy, which is the back half of our store.

Off to clean a bit before we head out to work, its been too hot to clean!

Have a great day everyone
Robin

Good morning to the early riser!

I to am a morning person. I'm usually up and about around 4:30-5A. For the last couple of weeks it's been hard because I started a P/T job so I'm having long days 13-14 hr days (includes travel time). I'm getting up at 5:30 and I stopped going to the gym in the mornings. Now I'm doing afternoons, I don't really like it but it's better than no workout at all.

Day 4 of low carbing and I'm feeling good in my body, just a little tired from TOM and the extra hours but I'm glad I found this support group, it has really been a great help to me! Even when I thought about cheating, I'd think about what I needed to write the next day (meals) and that would help.

Juliaa75-I know about wanting to through away clothes. I haven't yet but there are some pieces I just will not wear anymore. I'll be glad to get into a normal size (12). That will be great time for me.

Until later, you ladies have a great day!

getting heck from Ruth for lurking & not posting, so here goes. Have not been able to stay OP. Too many distractions, camping, visitors & now this week end my daughter is hosting the family picnic, and 2 couples will be stay here for 5 days. But the terrific news is, I have not gained any of the weight back. So starting next Tues I will go back on induction again. ( I promise)

Well it is 1pm here.
We have been to wally world this morning. I wanted a pair of "running "shorts for the beach. i hate the sand and even more how it gets stuck in my suit. I have a tankini so the shorts with the top should make bein in the sand a littel better and who can beat $4 for a pair of short at wally world? I also went on the hunt for sox for DH And I went to the sports store for some new bRAS. It is amazing how fast they fall apart when you are not looking!

Congrats Ruth on the tossing of cloths! Good move, you should always put your best foot forward and look your best.

KFS and I are taking the kids to an amusement park tomorrow. They came over yesterday and iot was a little out of control, I hope it is because the kids have not seen each other in a few weeks.

Have a good afternoon and to all the lurkers

Can I join in too? I am doing okay on this low carb thing. Last night I went out with friends and drank diet pop, instead of my usual Barcardi. Good for me!!!! And today so far so good. Eggs for breakfast and a big salad with turkey and cheese. It was good, but I had to fit my kitty fro the turkey. She loves it!

Well ladies,

I had to go to a going away party this afternoon and I'm proud to say I didn't touch not one piece of cake. They did have raw veggies and ranch dressing so I had a small plate of that.

I'm too happy, I looked at the cake and it was beautiful and everyone was raving about how good it was, but I didn't eat a piece.

My mind was telling me different but the body kept saying, you don't want to start over, so I didn't and took my focus off of the cake and more on the person that was leaving. It was great for me!

I'm so glad you're all here. Seeing how you deal with temptation really helps me.
Ruth, I don't suppose any of those Size 22s would suit me??? Why throw them out when you're coming my way, hehehe. The pants would probably be too short but who knows about the tops? I'm ever hopeful and not proud at all.

I'm still OP and down 3 lb from Monday. I know it's water but I don't care. Pounds are pounds and I'm glad they're gone. I do so admire you gals who do the gym thing. It's all I can do to drag myself to the pool 3 times a week, although once I'm there I love it. I know I do too much sitting on my big fat caboose but it's hard to change.

Angry Good Afternoon All ~

I just realized I never posted yesterday! I know I read some posts at some point, got distracted and never came back!

Today has been a tuffie. Woke up at 2:30 a.m., couldn't go back to sleep tho I sure tried, did some paperwork, shower/hair/makeup routine and just got Stephen (ds), Michael (ds) and DH off to work, sat down to chat with Susie (df) a bit and DH radioed me about an accident, truck totalled and I wasn't sure who he was talking about...him or one of the boys. I went flying to the location and it was Stephen. I've spent most of the day at the hospital. He's ok -- Praise be to God -- and so are the two in the other vehicle. Stephen has a sprained leg, sprained knee and alot of pulled muscles and torn ligaments, but that is minor compared to what could've been. The truck and trailer did a U turn after impact and then turned right half on/off the road before coming to a stop. Thing of it is, the truck did all that and came to a stop but Stephen picked himself up off the floorboard - claims the engine was off, keys in ignition, looked around and didn't even realize it was him in the accident, he hobbled over to the other vehicle (according to witnesses) to see if they were okay, and telling them not to move....someone try to convince me that God and his Angels were not with my son. Dang, gonna start crying again.

Ok-be back in a few.
