I think I'm just emotionally and physically drained. I sure didn't plan on coming here today with all of that!!

Actually, Susie, (my dear friend) called me last night after I was in bed to tell me that her father has been diagnosed with additional cancer in his liver and his lumgs. There are so many of you that do not know me or my friend Susie, but, her mom died 2.5 yrs ago...approx six months after that her dad started taking ill and she has stayed in Illinois for months at a time being with him...when she called me last night the thing that sticks with me is when she said...My God Janice, why has he had to suffer for so long, why couldn't he have just had a heart attack and let him go? She and her family have planned a "vacation" to leave Friday morning to go to Illinois, I guess it's good timing. If you are of the praying kind, would you please pray for them?

For those of you who have not read about my sweet susie - she is married with 2 young boys - she lives in a crappy rent house and never complains about anything. She puts up with all my griping and complaing about my life and never says a word of what she's going thru. Please, if you can, pray for her and her family. If it wasn't for Susie, I'm sure I wouldn't lost my sanity before now!

I'm sorry, I've had a very emotionally draining past 24 hours. Guess it would be best if I logged off.

Janice, big hugs to you, and prayers to Susie! Thank God your son is ok. I guess today is just a day to be thankful for what we are lucky enough to still have!

With that said, I'm not thankful that I still have all the pounds I did this time last week. Drats! I weighed Tuesday, Yee-hah, lost 3 pounds...yesterday 2 creep back, today the last one. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY! This is really frustrating, but I'm not giving up. Never, never. This is my last diet and it will be a successful one.

I had to make 2 cheesecakes for work tonight, (staff member birthday party) and I can't eat any of them. Mmmm, I'll spare you the description of them. It would be too cruel.
