Question had carbs and lost weight

ok, so this is the run down, 3 weeks and no weight loss.
religious about the >20g a day.....
this weekend, had a can of coke (dont ask) and 2 wontons.
and when i woke up the next day the scale showed i lost 2 lbs.
i am fanatic about the scale so i know when it moves even an ounce. and it hasnt since i began my venture with no carbs
whats the deal here?
i was thinking maybe i need alittle more carbs for me to function right.
has this happened to anyone?

Maybe it was just time for a weight drop. You should aim for 20 carbs a day and try not to eat less. Also, be sure you are eating enough calories. Maybe it was the extra calories that caused the drop, not the carbs.
Are you tracking calories and carbs on fitday?

Default ruthxxx thanks!!

hi Ruthxxx
thanks for your response.

yes i track them on fit day.
maybe it was the extra calories.
i usually have up to 20 carbs a day.
my calories have been up and down ranging from 1200-1800.
depends on if i eat chicken or beef mostly.
i am guessing it was the xtra cals.
makes me want to eat more cookies,,LOL kidding.
i am going to continue with the low carbs for another week.
to make a solid month and see what happens.
i was thinking, instead of serious low carbs, to change my lifestyle to low carbs low fat low sugar alltogether.
have more salad than meat.
my firend who lost 12 lbs int he same time i lost 2 said this may not be the right lifestyle for me. undecided.
now if i even attempt to eat a slice of diet wheat bread i cringe and feed it to my dog. she loves bread.

DON'T COMPARE YOUR WEIGHT LOSS WITH A MAN'S!!!! was that emphatic enough?? for reasons that we don't understand, and we certainly resent, men lose weight much faster than women do, no matter what they try. it's not fair. we don't like it one bit, but it's a fact of life.

more later. there's only one exception that i know of: my WLS buddy, marc, has lost about 25 pounds LESS than i have in the same time frame [well, 4 hours less, since his surgery was right after mine]. neither of us understands it.

Default I think you finally had a breakthrough!

Keep those calories up up up! CVS has some killer macadamia nuts! Once you start losing it will get easier and easier.

I am proud on your two pounds!
