What do you do when you crave/want sugar or sweets?
I haven't been doing well at resisting my cravings lately, but here's what I usually do...
- have a hot bath
- brush my teeth
- watch a movie with DH
- go out for (decaf!) coffee

Those sound good, but there's a better way, body chemistry speaking. You should take in even more water, eat more protein snacks throughout the day, and avoid coffee. I find that coffee, for some reason, even though it's decaf, might set you off if you're feeling a lttle carb sensitive. After it passes, then have that cup!

When its really bad
Ive got bit of a hold on it now.........and man its not easy to do.
Here are some of the things that work for me.
1. make a BIG bowl of brussel sprouts, slather them with butter, salt & pepper and parm cheese!!
2. clean the bathroom!
3. start the laundry
4. make a pot of soup.....I did this the other night, intending to make chocolate chip cookies......I needed sugar. But thought I would do this first. I didnt want the cookies after making the soup.
5. Take hubby to bed
This is his favourite sugar buster solution.

LOL Robin! I find that everytime DH and I get "cuddly" I seem to lose better/more/more often. You'd better believe that he's getting a lot more now.

Well now. I can't top that last sugarbuster! The hubby's been at work while I've been at home, so last night a pickled egg did the trick nicely!!
