Hi Everyone! I thought this sample diet menu might help some newbies! I found it in the _Cosmopolitan's Super Diet and Exercise Guide_ Atkin's diet section. It is a great way for people who are new to Atkins to figure out what to eat. It takes all the guess work out of the diet! Hope it helps others like it helped me!

Breakfast:
Two Eggs prepared any style, including fried in butter. If you are making an omelet, make it without milk.
Ham, Bacon, Cheese, or smoked fish.
Coffee, Tea, or bouillon; lemon in tea, heavy cream in coffee ( NO MORE THAN 3 teaspoons a day).
Lunch:
100% beef hamburger
or Tongue, Fish, Shellfish, Canned Tuna, Canned Salmon as main dish.
Small green salad with Italian dressing made of oil, vinegar, and all spices EXCEPT sugar. Salad Greens: Romain, Endive, Escarole, Lettuce, Celery, raddishes.
Dinner:
Seafood Cocktail (use mayo, not cocktail sauce.
Smoked fish.
A main dish of meat, fish, or chicken.
Small green salad. (no more than 2 loosely packed cupfuls a DAY)
Coffee Breaks and Snacks:
Fried pork rinds
Cucumber Spears
Beef Broth and Club Soda
Sugar Free Jello
Small Chunk of cheese
Cold shrimp, with the sauce
