Default How Much Fat

I am wondering how much fat you usually consume in a day on the Atkins plan? I have noticed that my protein and my fat run about the same..is this normal? I am using fitday.com to calculate, and alot the amount I eat is fat..with protein falling shortly behind. What are some round numbers that are normal. I just want to make sure Im not eating too much fat.

I don't know the exact numbers, but on induction, you don't have to count what you eat! Just eat until you feel satisfied, whenever you feel hungry, and make sure it's not carbs. This way, you lose weight. After a few days, your appetite will get smaller. Remember, meat and cheese and eggs all have fat, that's why they are satisfying. It's going to be higher than a WW plan, but it's only for a short time. Good luck!

Do not worry about the amount of fat you are eating unless you get into a serious stall. if you cut the fat you will end up eating too little calories and find that will stall you even more than carbs will. if you are OP and get into a stall then you can think about the fat content of the amount of food you eat then you trim the fat a bit and cut some of the butter or mayo but untill then do not cut the food you need all you can get at this point. many find that the do noe eat enough foods so be sure that your caloric intake does not fall be,.ow 1500 and you will be fine nomatter how much fat you eat

Thank you guys for putting my mind at ease. I appreciate it. I was worried for a while there. Now the problem I need to conquer is wanting that extra sweet at the end of the meal. So far so good though!
