Oh fried turkey is great! I didn't know they didn't do this everywhere. It is best if you inject it with a marinade the night before. You can buy marinades with the big syringes, or you can just use strained Italian dressing. You have to strain it so the herbs won't clog up the injector needle. Poor turkey, it sounds awful.
By the way, I won't be eating turkey this year. I MIGHT eat ham, but I can't eat any fleshy meat right now. I was eating a roasted chicken leg quarter the other night and half way through I realized there were quills hanging out of this poor birds thigh. It looked like the feathers got cut off and the roots were left behind. It just grossed me out and made me way sympathetic for the poor animal. I felt like a caveman. I had to throw my dinner out and eat lots of other stuff to get the taste out of my mouth. Now what am I gonna do? I can't stand meat right now. There isn't much of a way to do low carb without meat. Oh well, I will think of something!
